The Ozark Mountains are full of color in the fall. Come join us on this adventure as we train, cruise & motorcoach through these beautiful mountains & countryside. Day 1, Mon. Oct. 5.… Today we travel south to Joplin, Mo., where we’ll overnight. Complimentary Hotel ‘Happy Hour’ tonight. (D) Day 2, Tues. Oct. 6.… We depart Joplin, Mo & travel to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. After arriving in Eureka Springs we’ll start off with a trolley tour of the town. We’ll visit Thorncrown Chapel, Christ of the Ozarks Statue, the historic Crescent Hotel & Grotto Springs, the famous healing spring. After the tram tour you’ll have a little time for shopping & lunch in one of their unique little cafés. This evening you’re in for a real treat as we take in ’The Great Passion Outdoor Play’, voted America’s #1 Outdoor Drama. Featuring a cast of over 170 characters this religious play is performed amid a 550 ft. multi-level stage which features many live animals. Guaranteed to be a highlight of your trip! Overnight lodging in Eureka Springs. (B, D) Day 3, Wed. Oct. 7.….. Our adventure in Eureka Springs continues this morning as we visit Castle Rogue‘s Manor. This breathtaking castle looks as if it appeared straight from the pages of a storybook. You‘ll be intrigued to hear the story behind this castle & how it came about… After leaving the castle we’ll here “All Aboard” as we hop on the Eureka Springs Railway for a picturesque fall color luncheon train ride through the Ozark foothills & valleys. Later this afternoon we depart Eureka Springs & travel to Branson, for a 1-night stay. While there we’ll enjoy a nice dinner & then we’re in for a night of fun, laughter & good music as we take in Presley’s Country Jubilee.. (B, L, D) Day 4, Thurs. Oct. 8.…. This morning we bid farewell to Branson & travel to Springfield, Mo. Our fun day in Springfield starts off with a visit to Fantastic Caverns. You’ll enjoy the magnitude & beauty of this unique attraction as you sit back in a jeep-driven tram, America’s only drive-thru cave, that attracts over 100,000 visitors each year…. Next is a visit to the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium. The founder of Bass Pro Shops, Johnny Morris, has recently constructed this one-of-a-kind facility that includes 1.5 million gallons of water in multiple aquariums, which houses over 35,000 live fish. This aquarium was voted USA’s best aquarium in 2018. Attached to the aquarium are the immersive wildlife galleries containing taxidermied animals from around the world. Day 5, Fri. Oct. 9.… Our Ozark Adventure continues as we travel into Osage Beach, Mo., the

heart of Lake of the Ozarks. Our first stop will be at the Wilmar Lodge Visitor’s Center & a

visit to Bagnell Dam. Then we’re off for a fun narrated luncheon cruise on one of the

beautiful lakes that surround Osage Beach… Later this afternoon we’ll travel to Jefferson

City, Mo, where we‘ll tour the historic Missouri State Penitentiary Museum, the oldest

continually operating prison west of the Mississippi. This facility was decommissioned in 2004

& now serves as a great historical landmark. On this narrated tour you’ll hear historical

accounts of escape attempts & infamous inmates, then see the gas chamber where 40

executions took place. We depart Jefferson City late afternoon & travel to Columbia, Mo. for

our final night out, where you’ll once again enjoy a Complimentary Hotel ‘Happy

Hour’. (B,L,D)

Day 6, Sat. Oct. 10.…. The awesome fall colors continue to amaze us as we travel back northward towards home. Taking with us new friendships & lots of fun times, laughs & memories made along the way .(B)
