Capillary blood flow

In 1987 Dr. Baumgärtl demonstrated an O2 flux

through the epidermis supplying the upper layers of the skin.

Transcutaneous hydrogen clearance technique was applied. The inability to detect hydrogen at the skin surface at 33ºC confirms the minimal contribution of capillary blood flow to the oxygen supply to superficial layers.






Markus Stücker of the Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany, and his dermatologist colleagues have found that air supplies the top 0.25 - 0.4 mm of the skin with oxygen.

This is almost 10 times deeper than previous estimates. This zone includes the entire outermost layer of living cells - the epidermis - and some of the dermis below, which contains sweat glands and hair roots.






The finding could change doctors’ approach to skin conditions. Says David Harrison, who studies the use of oxygen by the skin at the University Hospital of North Durham, UK: "Everyone thought that atmospheric oxygen was unimportant, but a significant depth of the skin is supplied from the air and environment." This fact opens new aspects on using skin care products containing oxygen like OXYGENIX !

Technical Information

All of the oxygen products we tested use a very simple trick for oxygenation, achieving no effective results to the user, but still using the fact as a marketing tool.

The fact, that these cosmetic products are packaged in pots and tubes also shows how little these manufacturers know about the behaviour of oxygen!!






•Normally a cream formula consist of approx. 70% of water. Since several years now the industry is technically in the position to automate dilution of oxygen into water, but without controlling and knowing the exact quantities.

•In the best case, a temporary satiation can be achieved up to 70 to 80 mg/liter.






• Oxygenated water base is the basis for all the tested oxygen cosmetic creams.

• In this manner of production, a molecular connection with oxygen is not possible, and the evaporation of oxygen from the product can’t be avoided when used.

The OXYGENIX cosmetic products are in a compressed-gas cylinder / AEROSOL CAN. The high pressure in the cans produces a high concentration of oxygen in all the OXYGENIX cosmetic products which permits that oxygen will be kept in the product till the end of use.






In the OXYGENIX cosmetic products, at every time, a constant amount of oxygen is diluted in the cosmetics creams due to the constant pressure in the Aerosol Cans of approx. 8 bar.

This means, that at room temperature, a min. of 70 to 80mg of oxygen per litre can be measured.

This is unique for oxygen cosmetics!
