All Nations SundaySunday, November 17, 2013 at 12:30PM will be our All Nations Sunday.This special service will feature guestspeaker, Marcello Araujo from ChosenPeople Ministries(www.chosenpeople.ca). A specialfocus will be on the Jewish people,feasts and customs.

BIO: Marcello Araujo was born and raised in a Jewishfamily in the South American country of Ecuador. As hegrew up, this nice Jewish boy became a political activistwho wanted to change the world through Marxism. Marcello studied drama and eventually formed apolitically oriented theatre troupe designed to spread the“good news” of the gospel according to Marx. However,in 1992, Marcello heard the true Good News and wastransformed by his relationship with Jesus the JewishMessiah.

Marcello has said, “I wanted to change the world throughMarxism, not knowing that God wanted me to be part ofHis world-changing plan, by sharing His love and the trueGospel, the Gospel of life, the Gospel of Yeshua.”

Today, Marcello uses drama and other creative means toeffectively communicate the Good News of Messiah tothe lost sheep of Israel. Following the Lord's leading, hehas recently begun a regular Bible study in Hamilton,Ontario; this small fellowship is growing into a Messianiccongregation. Chosen People Ministries (Canada) ispleased to have Marcello and his wife, Diana, on our teamin Ontario. Together, they bring many years of ministryexperience and a passion for Jewish evangelism.

All are invited to bring friends and family to participate intraditional, ethnic clothing and everyone is asked to bringa meal item that would be part of a traditional serving intheir country of origin. Refreshments will follow after theservice.

Wednesday Bible Study SeriesThe Ministry Of The Second ManI have had an enormous privilege to serve special peoplewho form the Wednesday Night Fellowship. I have servedthere for the past several months and have learned somuch by being a servant.

Now that I am back for our Congregational Bible StudySeries, I am impressed to teach on the subject of theMinistry Of The Second Man (Deuteronomy 1:38 & 1Corinthians 15:47).

I am laying a framework to develop servant leaders whoserve leaders. Joshua was Moses’ minister, an apprenticewho later became the leader via divine promotion.

Jesus Christ was the second man, defined as the Lord fromheaven. This man, condescended to men of low estateand became their servant. Did he not wash his disciples’feet? Peter objected to this level of humility by trying todeny Jesus this right to serve him. But Jesus said, thatunless Peter allowed Jesus to serve him, Peter would haveno part with him. In other words, Jesus was saying,serving is what I do and a servant is who I am, and if youwill not allow me to be me, you will have no part with me.

Is serving what we do? Is a servant who we are? If theLord from heaven could be the second man, why are weso proud then that we would see second-man ministry asbeneath us? Why must we always strive to be the boss,the captain, the pastor, the leader? Can’t we have a greatcareer being the second man? Who is the second man?The second man is the person who says to the leader, “Iam here with all of my resources, commitment and timeto help you get there - wherever your vision takes you andyour destiny leads. I am here to help you get there.”
