USER GUIDE
Regular use of Oxidense as prescribed will reduce hair fall, and result in improved hair quality and better hair density. Results may be visible after regular usage for 6-8 months with twice a day application.

What is Oxidense Foam?Oxidense is a white colour, unscented foam containing 5% minoxidil for men & 2% minoxidil for women, it is to be used only on the scalp as a topical solution, or as prescribed for best possible results.
Who can use Oxidense?Oxidense 5% is meant for men. Oxidense 2% meant for women who exhibit hair loss through pattern thinning which begins on the vertex of the scalp. It can be used by both men and women above 18 years old who are experiencing gradually thinning of hair or hair loss on top of the scalp (vertex only, as shown below). It is not intended for frontal baldness or receding hair line.
Oxidense may not work for individual who are further along the stages of hair loss, but it will prevent any further damages, and retain as well as improve the quality of remaining hair.
Who should NOT use Oxidense, 5%?Ÿ Oxidense, 5% should not be used by women of any ages.Ÿ Oxidense, 5% should not be used by babies or persons under the age of 18.
Who should NOT use Oxidense, 2%?Ÿ Oxidense, 2% should not be used by babies or persons under the age of 18.Ÿ Oxidense 2% should be categorically avoided during pregnancy.Ÿ
Important Note:If one has any cuts, sensitive skin or open wounds over one's scalp, one should completely avoid using Oxidense.
Will Oxidense work for me?There are many factors that lead to hair loss, some of which includes genetics, hormonal imbalance, stress, or aging. The amount of hair regrowth is different for each person, and depending on factors that lead to their hairs thinning, Hence Oxidense may not work for everyone.
Ÿ However, for best results with Oxidense, you must make sure that you apply the right amount of portion directly to the scalp and apply it twice a day, every day or use it as prescribed by your health care professional.
Ÿ You may get better results if you have been experiencing hair loss for less than 5 years or have minimum hair loss.

Please note that Oxidense will not improve hair loss due to: Damage cause due to scarring or deep burns of the scalp. Hair grooming methods such as cornrowing or ponytails which require pulling the hair tightly back from the scalp. The use of some prescription and non prescription medication, certain severe nutritional problems (very low body
iron; too much vitamin A intake), low thyroid states (Hypothyroidism), chemo therapy, or disease or causes scarring of the scalp.
How soon can I expect results from using Oxidense?Ÿ Since normal hair usually grows only 1/2 to 1 inch per month, hair regrowth with Oxidense will also takes similar or
even more time in some men & women.Ÿ Results may be seen as early as 4-6 months with daily use. For some individual, it may take at least 6-8 months for
results to be visible. If you do not see any results after 6-8 months, stop using Oxidense and seek the advice of your physician.
Ÿ When you first begin to use Oxidense, your hair loss may increase for upto 2-3 weeks. This is absolutely normal and is likely a sign of your body getting rid of old unhealthy hairs in order to make room for newer better hair. This temporary increase in hair loss is expected and is part of the process of Oxidense replacing hairs in the Telogen phase, with thicker hair in the Anagen phase. However, if hair loss continues beyond 2-3 weeks, stop using Oxidense and seek advice of your physician.
How long do I need to use Oxidense?Oxidense through its active ingredients is only effective as long as you continue to use the product.
What happens if I completely stop using Oxidense?Continuous use is needed to maintain hair regrowth. If you stop using Oxidense you will lose your newly regained hair in 3 to 4 months.
How do I use Oxidense?For best results, apply 2 times a day directly to the scalp on the hair loss area. Using more than the recommended amount will not improve results. Each bottle should last at least one month, if used as directed.Never take this product by mouth or apply to other parts of your body.
When do I use Oxidense?Apply Oxidense once in the morning and once at night. Allow the nighttime application to dry completely before going to bed. Each bottle should last one month, if used as directed.
What if I miss a dose or forget to use Oxidense?If you miss one or two daily doses just continue with your next dose. There is no need to make up for missed doses.
Can I use Oxidense more than twice a day? Will it work faster, better? No. It will not work faster or better if used more than two times a day. More frequent use or larger doses have not shown signs to speed up hair growth and may increase the occurrence of side effects.
What kind of shampoo should I use with Oxidense? Oxidense is best use alongside a mild daily shampoo.

Can I use hair products like, sprays, mousses, conditioners, gels, etc.? Yes. Hair sprays and styling aids may be used on your hair while using Oxidense. For best results, Oxidense should be allowed to soak into the scalp before using any styling products. It tries to develop a good routine of applying Oxidense first, and then applying styling products and style as usual. Keep in mind that your best results will be seen with proper application.
Can I have my hair colored or permed or use hair relaxers while using Oxidense? Yes. There is no evidence that colouring or perming your hair or using relaxers an have adverse effects on Oxidense intended purpose. Permanent weave and some hair colours can cause scalp irritation on certain people, therefore, we recommend the following precautions be taken:
Ÿ To avoid possible scalp irritation, you should make sure that Oxidense has been washed off the hair and scalp before using color or perm chemicals.
Ÿ For best results, do not apply Oxidense on the same day of chemical treatment on your hair. Ÿ Do not use for 24 hours after using any chemicals to make sure your scalp has not been irritated by the perm or
color treatment. If no irritation occurs, continue use of Oxidense as usual. Ÿ Simply restart your normal Oxidense routine. Can I apply Oxidense and wash my hair an hour later? Yes. You can but for best result, you should allow it to stay on the scalp for about 4 hours minimum before washing.
What are the most common side effects with Oxidense? The most common side effects are itching and skin irritation of the treated area of the scalp. If scalp irritation continues, stop the use and see a doctor. Oxidense contains alcohol, which will cause burning or irritation to eyes. If Oxidense accidentally gets into eyes, rinse with cool tap water.
Can I use Oxidense for baldness or hair loss in babies or children? No. Oxidense is an anti hypertensivevasodilator and can have severe side effects if used by children.
