Module 1: Pre Feasibility & Project Allocation AssistanceLand Selection:

Gensol ranks the land parcels available on the basis of parameters affecting EPC Costs and Revenues from the project:

• Land - The expected generation calculated should be based on dependable data

- The soil type would determine the cost of the Module Mounting Structure

- The shape of the land would decide the area required per MW of installation

• Substation - The Substation should not be very far from the land as it would result in cost escalation for the

evacuation infrastructure and greater transmission loss

- The Substation should have a high Grid Uptime

- The Substation should have a provision of evacuation of Solar Power through Independent Feeder

• Others - Availability of Construction Power, Water and Labor

- The Terrain and Ease of Access to the Site

Bid Assistance

• Carrying out Comprehensive Analysis for:

• Choice of Technology

• Choice of EPC Contractor

• Probability and Provision for Low Cost Funding

• Arriving at the Bidding Tariff and Bidding Capacity at which the Project Developer would be assured of acceptable returns. Alternately,

modeling of financial returns of the Renewable Energy Certificate route.

• Preparation of Request for Submission / REC Registration Documents

Module 5: Supervision During ConstructionConstruction Monitoring

• Undertaking visit to the Project site to assess progress in engineering, procurement and construction activities and to review

contractor’s presentation of problem areas.

• Advising Client on possible problems and delays that may arise in future, to ensure timely action to prevent the problem;

• Advise clients immediately of major problems that may arise;

• Reviewing quality control procedures and reports;

• Reviewing change orders to the Contract and informing client of the amount of change order(s) and its status.

• Review progress of implementation of the Project and its variance vis-s-via scheduled implementation

• Comment on critical path activities & estimate of hand over of Project in comparison within timelines as per EPC contract

• After every visit the consultant would prepare a progress report outlining all activities completed and those scheduled for the coming

and an independent assessment of the status.

Review the O&M Manuals

The LIE will Review the O&M manuals and comment on their completeness and compatibility to those of similar facilities. In particular, the
