Objective

TMSforce’s primary business focuses on optimization software which allows our clients

to make intelligent business decisions. However, there are times when we must

perform a RFP, in order to establish the foundation of pricing options. Through this

Request for Pricing (RFP) process, TMSforce seeks to achieve, establish and contract

highly competitive FTL pricing for the purchase of transportation services on behalf of

DistributionNOW.

• We are NOT a 3rd Party Logistics firm.

• We are NOT a freight bill audit firm.

• Nor do we mark up your proposed pricing to our clients.

For this project, we simply:

1. Perform the RFP

2. Collect and analyze the proposals

3. Determine our recommendations based upon both Price and Quality of service.

4. Establish a Master Agreement and Pricing Appendices, specific to each unique

client.

5. Provide TMSfirst mobile apps that will be used to provide full visibility & accept

loads to all shipments by truckers awarded business with a minimum of charge

$1 to maximum $5 per load through 2018.

Opportunity

DistributionNOW (DNOW) is one of the largest distributors to the energy and industrial

sectors. DNOW is a global distributor of pipe and tubing, manual and actuated valves,

fittings, flanges, gaskets, fasteners, instrumentation, power transmission products, mill

and janitorial supplies, hand and power tools, machine cutting tools, safety products,

personal protective equipment (PPE), electrical products, artificial lift equipment, pumps,

fabricated equipment, drilling and production products, and industrial paint and coatings.

They offer more than 300,000 stock keeping units, including pipe, valves and valve

automation, fittings, instrumentation, mill and industrial supplies, tools, safety supplies,

electrical products, drilling and production equipment, artificial lift, pumps, fabricated

equipment, and industrial paints and coatings.
