Patient, responsible party, contract, and insurance information cannot be changed in the new program. Everything is still editable in the billing program. After changes are made, the “Refresh” button can be used.

After a claim is filled out correctly, click the Print icon, then select Ready To E-Send

The Ready to E-Send filter will show all claims ready to be submitted electronically.Clicking the Generate Claim File will create the file to be uploaded to their website. In a later version, the file will be automatically transmitted via the internet.

Insurance report looks exactly like the 2006 ADA form. It supports an imported signature.

Similar dialog for adding reminders. Reminders can be Financial or Insurance Queue.

Reminders appear in their own tab. Each reminder will show all the details including whether or not it alerts when the patient is selected.

The chart tab will show financial chart entries including scans. Also shown are comments and alerts (chart alert, schedule alert, and chart reminders). Scans can be opened by double-clicking them.

Payer ID can be maintained by editing an insurance company (right click Open Insurance from Responsible Party)

Payer ID has a 10 characters maximum. Although you should never duplicate payer IDs, duplicates are allowed.
