Limiting Noise Sources

• Seismic noise & vibration limit at low frequencies

• Atomic vibrations (Thermal Noise) inside components limit at mid frequencies

• Quantum nature of light (Shot Noise) limits at high frequencies

• Myriad details of the lasers, electronics, etc., can make problems above these levels
