The voice of the European Masterbatchers and Compounders

➢ An association of companies who have manufacturing operations in EU, EEA* and Turkey

➢ A Sector Group of EuPC, the European Plastics Converters

➢ Created in 2001 as ETHIC and totally revamped in 2014 in order to expand for the benefits of the membership

* The Europan Economic Area covers EU28, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein

➢ To represent the European Masterbatchers and Compounders, and to stimulate their role across the entire plastics value chain.

➢ To monitor and be involved in EU regulatory developments and compliance and to provide information and expertise about our business.

➢ To protect the interests of our industry from other potentially adverse business impacts such as trade issues.

➢ To increase the visibility of our role as Masterbatchers and Compounders vis-à-vis other European associations and the European institutions.

➢ To act in a responsible manner and in accordance with competition laws.

• Participate in the EuMBC Substance Monitoring Group: technical, regulatory & monitoring activities for the association members

• Participation in FREP (Food Contact Regulatory Expert Panel)

• Active in the development of the PESTOOL (Plastics Exposure Scenario Tool)

• Support on REACH including general information and guidance, specific substance monitoring,

REACH tools for risk assessment, safety data sheets

• Free access to the annual EuMBC Conference and the EuMBC General Assembly

• Regular information & updates on important topics concerning the industry

• Cooperation & exchange within EuPC (European Plastics Converters Association)

• Participate in market sectors activities alongside EuPC (Packaging, Building & Construction, Automotive, Electrical & Electronic, Medical & Pharma)

• Participate in horizontal activities and issues on e.g. energy policy, labour cost,

trade issues, HSE & Raw Materials Committees
