TAX PREPARATION

February 4 through Apr i l 11It is tax time again! Trained volunteers will be available to ASSIST LOW AND MODERATE INCOME, older taxpayers prepare their tforms. PEOPLE WITH COMPLEX TAX FORMS SHOULD SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE. The service will be offered eveMonday and Thursday through April. Volunteers will be on-site at the Orchard View Community Education Center from 9:00 am to 3:pm. Taxes will be prepared on an APPOINTMENT ONLY basis. To make an appointment, call 760-1493 beginning in mid-January. Thelp complete your taxes accurately and quickly, please bring the following information with you to your appointment:

Copy of your 2011 income tax return or rebate claim form.

Form SSA-1099 to show Social Security income received in 2012.

Form 1099 interest form from your bank to show any interest received in 2012.

Form 1099 Div to show any dividends received in 2012.

Record of property taxes or rent paid in 2012.

Heating bills from November of 2011 through October 31, 2012.

Form W-2 if you received any wages in 2012.

Any blank tax forms you received in the mail.

VOLU NTEERS NEEDEDAARP income tax aide volunteers areneeded for this years tax assistanceprogram. Training is provided for thisvery worthwhile volunteer opportunity.
