Refugees "A refugee is someone who, “owing to a well-

founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his or her nationality and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country.” (http://jobs.utah.gov/refugee/resources/manual/52.pdf)

Learn More TomorrowCreating Successful Outreach PartnershipsUnderserved populations such as homeless families, refugees, and teen parents can benefit tremendously from library services. However, making contact and establishing effective working relationships can be challenging. Learn how we worked with community groups to provide tailored outreach services at the Road Home’s Community Winter Shelter, the Sunnyvale Neighborhood Center, and Granite Peaks’ Teen Parent Program.
