Who are the youth?

• The UN, for statistical consistency across regions,

defines ‘youth’, as those persons between the ages

of 15 and 24 years, without prejudice to other

definitions by Member States…. All UN statistics on

youth are based on this definition, “

To provide updated information on a broad range

of sexuality and reproductive health issues, their

antecedents, and manifestations that will be useful

in the design of interventions to safeguard the

health and welfare of Filipino youth

- Maguindanao (with Field Supervisor from NDU)

- Sulu, Tawi tawi and Basilan (with Area Coordinator from WMSU) and direct supervision from DRDF Central Team

• All field interviewers were recruited from the 5 provinces
