How many types are there?

• There are two types of outlines:

1.Detailed:– All sentences are complete– Usually done when there is no rough draft

required.

Topic Outline

• Main headings are indicated by roman numerals along the left hand margin.

Do’s and Don’ts

• No punctuation

• Subhead is indented as far in as the first word of the preceding line.
