Many students choose the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business for our global focus. This is why we have developed one of the largest exchange programs in Canada. With over 70 partners in 35-plus countries, we encourage all of our students to gain first-hand experience studying abroad, for one term, regardless of their specialization. All BCom students are encouraged to go on exchange in their fourth year of the program, regardless of their specialization. However, you do have to meet certain criteria:

�completion of 300-level core courses �minimum GPA of 4.0 in all academic terms following admission to the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business �evidence that you have actively participated in international activities and events.

You are eligible to go on exchange in the fourth year of the BCom program for your elective term. Most of our exchanges occur in the fall term but we also facilitate exchanges during the spring and summer terms. You should check with your program advisor in order to determine which term best matches your specialization.

International exchange is an opportunity for you to spend one semester taking business courses in English (some exceptions apply) at a partner university and receive UVic course credits.
