Installation Precautions – Important Guidelines to Follow

• Precautions prior to Installation

- Ensure that all personnel at the site of installation wear personal protection equipment, such as safety helmets, safety

glasses, safety gloves and other appropriate safety equipment.

- Ensure that at least two persons work together to move or transport the product so as to ensure safety.

- Ensure that the power cord is not close to any heat sources. The cord sheath may melt and cause a fire or electric shock.

- Do not install the product in a confined space with poor ventilation. The internal temperature may increase and cause a

fire.

- Make sure you remove the power cord before transporting the product. Transporting the product with the cord connected

may cause a fire or electric shock.

- Make sure you ground the display screens before connecting the power source. Contacting a display that is not

grounded may result in death or severe injuries.

◇ Installation precautions for prevention of damage to LED

Precautions Images

[Be careful to prevent external impact or dropping]

① After removing the Cover-Corner from the product prior to installation, exercise caution to

ensure that the LED surface is not exposed to physical impact and the product is not

dropped onto the floor.

② Do not place the product on a vibrating object. Make sure the LED surface does not face

down onto the floor.

③ Exercise caution to ensure that the corners of the LED module are not damaged due to

contact with external factors.

④ Make sure the number of loaded rows does not exceed two.

[Be careful to prevent LED damage due to electric shock]

▶ Do not touch the LED surface with bare hands without wearing anti-static gloves.

[Be careful to prevent LED damage due to chemicals]

▶ Ensure that the product does not contact water, liquids containing alcohol, solvent or

surfactant, or chemicals such as wax, benzene, thinner, mosquitocide, air freshener,

lubricator or cleaning agent.

: configuration which is the maximum configuration that can display content with a resolution of FHD or lower

: configuration which is the maximum configuration that can be covered by the Y8 board

Open the box and remove the cushions.

Then, with the handles on the left and right sides of the cabinet,

Lift the cabinet out and peel off the pe bag.

* When unboxing the package or moving the product, do not hold the

handles in the middle of the rear door or the plastic covers on both

corners of the top.

◇ Pre work on ground – lowest cabinets(P38)

Do the following for lowest cabinets.

◇ Pre work on ground – Install the fan on every 5th lines (intake, Exhaust)(P23 ~ P24)

4.After settling the External Fan on the filter, use a 2mm wrench to

rotate the Wing nut on the left and right sides to secure the Fan.

When fixing after hanging the cabinet or making section,

the workers at the front and back of the cabinet should

communicate with each other and install it according to the

seam specifications (Rear installation).

Make sure you use two wires (connected using Eye Nut) for each cabinet.

• Use side hole for 2nd wire (redundant wire)

• Maximum number of cabinets that can be moved when installing a section: 4x2 cabinets(*spreader bar)

• Remove the Eye Bolt after hang a (cabinet/section) on the frame.

◇ Guide to moving the product using a crane

- After installing the Y8 board, give the address so that the system can check the Y8 location.

Refer to the figure below to specify the location by setting the corresponding binary switch.

Disassemble the cover at the back of the cabinet and reassemble the cover after connecting

the data cable. (Fig.13)

* Data cable specifications: It is necessary to add Teflon tape when using a cable with a circular,

Φ7.0 ~ 8.0mm, and Φ7.0mm or less.

After installing Y8, the data cable connects the following ports.

- When using 110V / 220V, the XPR product has a different number of power connections for each model,

so the number of power connections corresponding to the installation model must be observed.

- When connecting more than the allowed number of power connections, the power breaker may be lowered or

Overview of System Matrix software

- The System Matrix software is designed to control multiple LED displays. With this software, you can control multiple

displays of different sizes and pixel pitches.

- Use the “Setup System Matrix (20-04-0802x64).msi” file to install the System Matrix software.

After the software is installed, the software shortcut appears on the Start menu.

- To launch the software, select Start > All Programs > Prismview > System Matrix.

◎ Dimming

This feature allows you to control display brightness manually, or 50 automatically through the Light Sensor.

- General Output

: Display brightness is always maintained at the value set by this function.

(2) Dimming menu

Select 'Dimming' from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the

Setting window.

(3) General Output

- Output : Enter the desired default brightness value as a percentage in the General

Output field at the top center of the window. The display brightness is set to this

setting when the program reboots.

- Use Ramping : function Dynamic brightness adjustment activated.

If you check this function, the brightness will be automatically adjusted based on the

criteria below:

• Value of Minimum / Maximum Output (%)

• Information of the current time and date settings

• Information of Location Sunrise / Sunset

- Light Sensor

: The light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness to match the lighting conditions around the display.

(2) Dimming menu

Select 'Dimming' from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of

the Setting window.

Click the 'Settings' button in the main window of the program.

(3) Setting the Light Sensor brightness Thresholds

You can specify brightness Thresholds by enabling the Light Sensor and entering the

Day Lumens / Night Lumens value.

• When enabled, the light sensor automatically controls the brightness.

• Use Global Sensor : If you check this function, you can adjust the brightness of all

displays connected to System Matrix with one light sensor at a time.

• Day Lumens : Specify the brightness Threshold value or Max output % value for

the daytime zone. If the Light Sensor value is greater than the Max output %

value, the display outputs Max brightness.

• Night Lumens : Specify the brightness Threshold value or Min output % value for

the night time zone. If the Light Sensor value is lower than the Min output %

value, the display outputs Min brightness.

: The function sets the display brightness minimum / maximum.

(3) Maximum and Minimum Output %

Max % : Set the maximum brightness value of the desired display to %.

Min % : Set the minimum brightness value for the desired display to %.

If you want to use Dynamic brightness mini / max level,

you should check ‘Use ramping’ box.

: When using this function, System Matrix adjusts brightness according to the dimming schedule set.

The Dimming Schedule is created as a text file based on HTML code.

After modification, the Save & Exit button must be pressed to reflect.

(1) Open Global Control

Click the 'Global Control' button in the toolbar at the top of the program window.

(2) Blank Output

Click the 'Disable Output' button in the Global Control window to stop the image output

signal. To print the image again, click the 'Enable Output' button.

- Blanking

: This function allows you to stop the display's screen output without turning off the set power.

This means that the user can temporarily dim all displays and output them again while power is being applied..

- All On / All Off

: The function allows you to turn off and turn on the display. (LED Module Power on/off)

(3) Toggle Power

Click the 'All Off' button in the Global Control window.

Click the 'All On' button to turn on Module power again.

Note: For XPR, only the LED modules power is on/off.

- Set Brightness

: The function allows you to manually adjust the brightness of the display to the desired value.

※ When the program restarts, the Display will return to the default brightness setting.

(4) Brightness Adjustment

Use the Brightness slider bar to control global brightness.

Each mark on the slider bar represents a 5% change in display brightness.

The left side of the bar is 0% and the right side is 100%.

The Set Brightness XX% button applies the slider bar values to all displays.

Note: The value displayed on the Set Brightness XX% button changes depending on the

slider bar position.

if you press the Set Default button, brightness value turns back to its default setting.

System Matrix basic function

◎ Serial Color Test Patterns

: The Test Pattern setup feature sends a specific color or test pattern to the Display over a serial connection.

It is mainly used for troubleshooting purposes, and color uniformity can be checked.

※ All video signals are bypassed when the function is executed, and the existing content will not be played until the pattern is terminated.

(1) Open Serial Colors window

Click the 'Global Control' button in the toolbar at the top of the program window.

(2) Serial Color Test Patterns output

The left side of the Serial Color Control window displays a list of connected devices.

The checkbox allows you to output a specific pattern on the selected device.

The 'Output percentage' setting allows you to adjust the brightness of the selected

display test pattern. This setting is output independent of individual or full brightness

setting values, interrupting the content that was being output and playing the pattern.

Note: A warning window will appear on the left side picture before content that was

currently playing is interrupted. Pressing the 'Stop' button in the lower right corner

stops the Serial Color Test Pattern output and returns to previously played content.

You can monitor ID, F/W version, FAN status, temperature, Y8/module status of PDS, and perform FAN on/off, Y8 on/off,

module on/off, and F/W update functions through Commands function.
