BAi Readers are state-of-the-art devices for automatic vehicle identification (AVI) in vehicle access control systems. The units are immune to glare from the Sun as well as radio frequency interference from cell phones, radio antennas, power lines, pre-collision warning systems, and luxury window treatments. BAi Readers have a 5-year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty which includes coverage for damage due to lightning and power surge to the main electronics.

BAi Readers can be configured for stand-alone mode ideal for use at unmanned entrances located on remote parts of a property. By utilizing stand-alone mode the reader can control the entry gate directly without the added expense of an access control panel.

Entrances for registered vehicles only

At Imperial Golf Estates, the homeowners association identified the owners of 634 single-family homes that would be permitted to the new back entrance, and they were assessed the amount needed to pay for it. All other residents and visitors would have to continue using the main entrance. Utilizing stand-alone mode enabled Imperial Golf Estates to program in these exact decal numbers without needing to purchase an access control panel.

BAi Barcode Decals

BAi Barcode Decals are the “key” to our hands-free identification system. Once the BAi Barcode Decal is properly applied to the outside of the vehicle window, it cannot be lost or shared; and BAi Readers will not read photographs or photocopies of decals. The Decals are constructed of a tough weatherproof material that lasts up to 5 years, with a 2-year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty. Each vehicle is issued a unique identification number, so no two vehicles have the same entry code.

BAi Barcode Decals are available in 56 different color combinations (sample below).

Custom Barcode Decals can be made with special features such as name, expiration date or logo. Great for additional branding or to specify an authorization type such as Employee / Student or Owner / Renter (sample below).

Hand-held and Magnetic Barcode Decals are available for rental vehicles, antique show vehicles, motorcycles and more.

Extra Large Barcode Decals are available for large commercial vehicles and RVs. Using these decals extends the read range from 6ft to 12ft.
