Tacoma) as we celebrate our monthly
birthdays with a lunch!

We will resume on April 19th.
The Community Garden invites you to our
Annual Fundraiser Brunch
after service on
March 15, 2020.
Come celebrate with us over last year's very
successful garden season and help us raise
money for the upcoming season. We have
fifty-two garden beds plus peripheral flower
beds, berry plots and squash hills. We will
once again pay for the garden's water bill at
the end of the season which is our main
expense at this time. The garden has turned
into such a beautiful part of our church
grounds and provides great food for those
who garden there. For more information or
if you would like to help with the brunch
contact Kris Nieto. Thank you!
Position Open: Sopranos, alto, tenor and bass. No others need apply.
Physical Qualifications: Must be able to carry light musical notes part way across the church. Must have sufficient vision to see director 10
feet away.
Experience: No application accepted from people who haven’t sung,
hummed or whistled in the tub or shower.
Wages: Satisfaction and joy in God’s service.
Fringe Benefits: Social Security. We promise you the security of social
fellowship with other members of the choir.
Hours: Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Opportunities for overtime at above mentioned wages.
Vacation: Missed rehearsals and worship services are primarily a
matter of conscience and the ability to return the stares of the director.
Retirement: No particular age, but it is generally determined by prayer, printed notes getting too small, robe too heavy, notes too high (above high A), sanctuary too hot or organist unable
to play notes you sing!

Join us in February for our Dinner and a
Movie:
When a young American travels to the city of
Verona, home of the star-crossed lover Juliet Capulet
of Romeo and Juliet fame, she joins a group of
volunteers who respond to letters to Juliet seeking
advice about love. When she answers one letter
dated 1957, she inspires its author to travel to Italy in
search of her long-lost love and sets off a chain of
events that will bring a love into both their lives, unlike
anything they ever imagined.
Friday, February 28, 6 pm
Deadline is Wednesday, February 26th.
Registration slips are in this week’s
Lamplighter, and on the front office
counter.
This is a free family friendly event, but it is
necessary that you register. We want to
make sure that we are prepared to host the
meal for everyone.
No registration slip? No problem! Simply call
the office and we will sign you up.
If you have any questions, please contact
Stefanie in the office at (253) 531-7000.
