Çelebi took an important step within the framework of its strategy of pursuing

international growth by taking over the ground handling services contract for Budapest

Linszt Ferenc International Airport in 2006, thereby forming “Çelebi Ground Handling

Hungary Ltd.” The Budapest Linszt Ferenc International Airport is located in the heart

of Eastern Europe and it has been one of the fastest-growing airports in the European

Union in the past decade.

As Budapest is also an important touristic destination, the increase in passenger and

flight volumes will be sustained strongly in the years ahead. Çelebi GH Hungary has

achieved a market leadership position in both ground handling and cargo services,

serving a diversified portfolio of more than 40 customers from various industry sectors

such as low cost carriers, charters, and full service carriers. In addition to providing

full handling services, it has expanded its range of services to provide ticketing, lounge

and Platinum Service. Furthermore, Çelebi is the sole provider of services to general

aviation flights, satisfying the unique specifications and requirements of this market

segment. Çelebi GH Hungary ensures further synergies to its global customer base by

providing on and off airport warehouse services in 12,000 sqm facilities with 70,000

tons/year Cargo handling capacity.

As an additional step of its strategy to provide the high quality to its partners, Çelebi expands in Europe by acquiring

Fraport GH in Vienna in December 2011 and thus commenced operations by taking over as “Çelebi Ground Services

Austria GmbH.” Vienna International Airport is a regional hub for big Airline Alliances and it is ideally positioned as

an air traffic link to the rapidly-growing countries of Eastern Europe. In a short time, Çelebi Ground Services Austria

has gained the reputation of the market by being the sole full handling services provider in Vienna. In addition, it

commenced the provision of ramp and passenger services to general aviation flights, thus giving the possibility of

choice to Business Aviation Airport users.

Çelebi Cargo in Frankfurt was first introduced in the beginning of 2011 with a fresh and

unique approach to cargo handling, branded as “Living Technology.” The facility is

fully automated with real time information systems, 60.000 sqm closed area and

400.000 tons/year capacity. Çelebi is proud of its portfolio of esteemed airline

customers with whom excellent relationships have been developed. The core focus of

the Company is on the automation of products and reporting to the furthest possible

extent, and at the same time still keeping absolute flexibility to address the unique

customer needs. Çelebi Cargo has also enhanced its services offered to include

trucking and offline handling distribution, and it also engages directly in flight

operations for several of its existing customers. Our strategy is to expand the product

offering to cover all hub related activities, focus on special handling and development

for cargo warehouses at other hubs, where it is strategically viable and create

additional opportunities to our customers for service excellence.

India. Çelebi NAS invested in the quality of its resources and technology, by

acquiring brand new equipment and highly qualified staff, succeeding to gain its

As a result, Çelebi NAS became the market leader and has managed to gain its

customers loyalty within the last six years. In addition, ÇelebiNas is the sole

handler providing services to general aviation users in Mumbai Airport. The

efficient solutions to each customer has made Çelebi NAS the leading Ground

In order to further establish its market position in India, Çelebi acquired the right to

carry out ground handling services in Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).

Çelebi’s presence in New Delhi is a particularly important step forward due to the

growth potential associated with India’s vast and flourishing civil aviation sector.

The company commenced operations on June 2nd, 2010, and it differentiated itself

from its competition by introducing highly qualified personnel, the latest technology

and brand new equipment. Çelebi GH Delhi has the competitive advantage of

operational synergies with the provision of warehouse services by Çelebi Cargo at

the same airport. Today Çelebi GH Delhi serves more than 20 customers, and it has

gained its customers loyalty and increased its reputation by being distinguished in

the market for both quality and service consistency.

Additionally, all cargo handling processes were re-designed to better

address the customers’ requirements by assigning dedicated

personnel, enhancing training, establishing strict security mechanism

and thus steering the cargo management and operations to a

successful cargo handling unit. The scope of operations has also been

expanded to include the handling of both international and domestic

cargo. Customer management and quality management systems were

implemented to ensure quality service and compliance with

international standards. Consequently, Çelebi gained the loyalty of its

customers and a trustworthy reputation in the market.

In 2009, “Çelebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Private LTD.”

acquired the Cargo Operations Concession Agreement at Delhi Airport

(DEL) for a period of 25 years. As a result, Çelebi took over the cargo

handling for over 54 airlines operating in Delhi Airport (DEL) in a

77.000 sqm facility and handling 400.000 tons per year. Following a

full refurbishment, the warehouse resulted in a modernized facility

with state of the art cargo equipment.
