Bonding Specialties

tesa HAF®: Heat-Activated Film

tesa® HAF is a heatactivated film which is not tacky at room temperature. Heat energy activates the adhesive mass and bonding strengths of up to 30 N/mm² can be achieved. The bonding strength depends on three parameters: time, tempe rature and applied pressure. tesa® HAF creates a thin and flexible bond. It can be applied on almost all temperature resistant substrates, such as metal, graphite, textiles, or glass.

STRAPPING SOLUTIONSProduct features:Our adhesive tapes for transport and surface protection are a perfect combination of strength, flexibility, and reliability. Their most important technical feature is the strong and robust backing material, which gives the tapes high abrasion and tear resistance with low elongation. Thanks to the unique adhesive materials they have a very good adhesive strength on many surfaces.

User benefits:Our film tapes offer a high degree of flexibility and can be removed without leaving any residue. They are mostly used for transport safety and surface protection. The fiber reinforced filament tapes are ideal for strapping and bundling heavy and large objects.
