What should I be doing to manage pest animals?

What will happen if someone isn’t doing the right thing?

• The Biosecurity Act 2015 requires everyone to manage biosecurity risks. The Regional Strategic Pest Animal Management Plans have identified regional risks and require all land managers to achieve outcomes identified in the plans.

• Local Land Services can provide information and advice to landholders and community members to improve pest animal management outcomes.

• Where required, enforcement action can take place to direct individuals to conduct activities outlined in the Regional Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan and any complementary local plans.
