Our Mission The mission of Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul, an independent chapter of a worldwide organization, is to serve our community by promoting the use and appreciation of French language and cultures through language classes, cultural programs, social events and information resources. French for Travelers La politique française The French Presidential elections are coming up on April 23rd and May 7th! Learn about the electoral system and the current French political landscape with Damien as we experience this event as it happens. Int 2 & above, $185. 5-weeks: Thursdays, April 13-May 11, 6-8 pm. Molière: La malade imaginaire Haven’t read anything by this 17th century author? Start with his last 3-act comedy La malade imaginaire, a farce about pretend illnesses and ridiculous doctors. Damien will guide you through this classic. Int 2 and above, $185. 5-weeks: Wednesdays, May 10- June 7, 10 am-12 pm. 10-week Pronunciation Virginie will guide you through the main phonetic features of French pronunciation and trickier concepts like le e caduc, l’enchaînement vocalique et conso- nantique et liaison. Students will spend a lot of time practicing with fun yet challenging examples and exercises. Leave feeling more confident! Int 1 and above, $315. 10-weeks: Saturdays, April 8-June 10, 11 am-1 pm. Foundation ClassesThese courses include grammar, vocabulary, and practice! Each class meets 3 hours a week, for 10 weeks, and uses the Alter Ego method. Materials available for purchase for $80. Tuition is $425 for each 30 hour class ($14/hr).
