Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Implementation of BDA’s copyrighted and trademarked web-based Business Impact Analysis analytic tool, CONTINUUM, to identify critical functions, processes, and resources.

Continuity and Disaster Recovery Strategy Development: Development of corporate and departmental Business Continuity Plans, including command and control infrastructure, emergency response planning, and escalation procedures for activation.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Development: Codification of continuity strategies into actionable plans, compliant with FEMA and NIST Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) guidance.

Services

Workplace Violence Prevention Program Management: Development of workplace violence preventionprograms including the construction of policies and procedures; creation of crisis management teams; and workplace violence awareness training.

Physical Security Vulnerability Assessments: Services include conducting detailed assessments of client’s facilities covering a wide spectrum of security areas including: access control, CCTV, alarm systems, security staff, mail screening, key control, etc.

Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)

BDA Global is currently assisting MCC with developing and maintaining its emergency preparedness program. In 2011 BDA Global updated MCC’s Continuity of Operations Plans, ensuring its continued compliance US Federal requirements. BDA Global’s consultants updated MCC’s plans, deployed a notification system, and facilitated its participation in the 2008 and 2010 NLE Eagle Horizon exercises, inter-governmental exercises involving all the major US Government agencies. Since 2009, BDA Global has been providing senior subject matter expertise to develop emergency preparedness plans for MCC’s 18

international country offices. Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

BDA Global supports the Continuity of Operations Planning and Disaster Planning program for the FTC. BDA’s role included developing a business impact analysis, determining priorities for recovery, and developing strategies to protect critical resources and resume operations timely and developing and deploying a Testing, Training and Exercise Program for the MCC.

From 2011 to 2012 BDA Global supported the International Monetary Fund by auditing its businesses resilience programs, including its Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Programs and strategies deployed to ensure effective Crisis Management and Continuity of Fund Operations.

The City of Red Deer in Alberta, Canada engaged BDA Global to assist its efforts to develop a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan. The plan was developed to ensure that the City can resume its Information Technology functions timely, and continue supporting City services after a disruptive event.

National Weather Service – The BDA Global Team completed the development of an IT Recovery Plan for the National

Weather Service Telecommunications Gateway (NWSTG), a portal that is used to transmit time sensitive critical data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to weather data customers, most notably the Federal Aviation Administration. Most NWSTG processes have a 2-hour Recovery Time Objective requiring the use of creative redundancy steps to ensure timely recovery. Our team also designed and implemented training and test exercises, in compliance with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program.

Police and Fire Federal Credit Union

From 2006 to present, BDA Global has been assisting PFFCU with their business resilience program. BDA Global initially developed a comprehensive Business Continuity Strategy for PFFCU, a financial institution with more than $2.5 billion USD in assets and multiple operational branches and continues to provide training and testing assistance to the institution.

Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP)

BDA Global, with its strategic partner IIF Data, completed the development of a comprehensive Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategy for DSCP. BDA Global also developed a plan appendix specifically addressing DSCP’s responses to pandemic events. With thousands of employees and a mission of supporting the logistics needs of the US military, DSCP has a complex operating environment and involved operational and IT recovery needs. The engagement involved a GAP analysis, risk assessment, business impact analysis, and the development of IT CONTINGENCY PLAN strategies. DSCP recently exercised an option to continue using our services for plan maintenance.

PCS Nitrogen

BDA Global developed a comprehensive Continuity strategy for PCS Nitrogen a large Ammonia producer based on the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. BDA Global also planned and implemented multi-tiered exercises to ensure that key personnel understand how to use their plans to in respond to an escalating disruptive events.
