GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION This collection takes us back in time to the
pontificate of Pope Martin V to 1421 when he
regulated the gathering of offerings on the Holy
Land’s behalf. The Catholic community in the
Holy Land is almost extinct as they cannot
survive on the offering of local parishioners.
Your support is the main source of income for
these churches. The least we can do is to
provide financial resources for these priceless
parishes. Kindly be generous towards the Holy
Land.

ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
Each year the Bishop seeks the support of all of
the members of the diocese to further the work
of our ministries. Each of us has a vital part in
all we do in Christ’s name, and each of us can
share in all we do with a gift to the Annual
Catholic Appeal. Our single Act of Faith
propels the works of love that build up our
Church. You make that happen with a generous.
I ask you to take a moment and truly reflect on
any help you can give. We truly need everyone
to participate. This year we again are striving to
reach our parish goal of $115,000. We have
reach 57% of our goal with $65,561.70 pledged.
I am always grateful and moved by the level of
support you give to our parish. I thank you for
this support, and may God continue to bless you
and your family.
To participate in the Appeal, please respond to
the mailings you have received from the diocese
or give online. There are pledge cards and info
available at the doors of the churches. Pledges
and contributions can also be put in the Sunday
collection. ~ Fr. Mike

13 kwiecień 2014–Niedziela Palmowa, początek Wielkiego Tygodnia
Hosanna i ukrzyżuj Te dwa okrzyki słyszymy niejako obok siebie w dzisiejszej liturgii słowa. W
prawdopodobnie te same tłumy- domagają się Jego śmierci.
chwały przychodzą nagle dni klęski i poniżenia, dni trudne i straszne.
A wszystko
zawiści, podłości i głupoty.
