Spiritual Adoption

Week 34— Your baby is still putting on

the pounds, about an ounce a day. He

now weighs almost 6 pounds and is a

little less than 19 inches long. He is

shedding most of the downy covering

of hair that covered his body. At the

end of this week, your baby will be considered full

term, even though he has been completely formed

since week 8.

-The Office of Faith Formation would like to wish you and your family a happy New Year! -Religious Education classes will resume January 10.

Important Parish Dates! SVdP will not have its

monthly meeting in January.

St. Martha’s Guild News

The next SMG meeting will be January 10, after the 9:00 Mass in the Parish Center. ALL women of the parish are invited to a potluck and $15 gift exchange during this time.

December Construction Activities

The exterior shell of the church will

continue during the month of

December depending on the weather.

Significant rain fall has had a small

impact on the construction schedule but

the project is only a week or so behind the planned schedule. We

should see the continuation of metal decking and possibly some of

the roofing installed soon. Exterior stud walls will begin sometime

in the next few weeks. Interior color selections have been finalized

with a selection of warm and neutral colors. The interior colors

have been carefully coordinated with the colors in the stained glass

restoration and the restoration of the Stations of the Cross.

Coordination has occurred between the pew manufacturer and the

interior committee. The hearing assistance loop has been

coordinated with the pew layout. Many other small activities occur

weekly to keep the contractor on schedule and keep costs down.
