Do you enjoy the refreshments after the meeting? This Fraternal year, we would like to spread the opportunity to serve our Brothers by providing refreshments after meetings to all of our Brother Knights. Sign up for providing the food after Business and Social meetings – you will be reimbursed for your expenses! See the front table at Business meetings for the sign up sheet. Not Swedish, no problem! No chefs, no food (oh, no!)

Grand Knight’s Message At last Thursday’s Business meeting we had the opportunity to meet our new District Deputy, Vince Meno.

He is from Chicago and has been a Knight for 5 years.

Besides being a DD, Vince is the Faithful Navigator for Immaculate Conception Assembly #3473. Welcome, Vince!

Commander’s Message

An opportunity to feed the hungry

Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. FMSC food has reached more than 70 countries in our history. FMSC is looking for volunteers in Libertyville to pack meals. Brother Knight Ed Rozalewicz is looking to put together a crew to pack meals. The whole process should only take 2 hours. He will be happy to notify FMSC and arrange the time. 742 East Park Avenue (Hwy 176) Libertyville, IL 60048 (behind Life Storage, use same parking entrance)

Seton Assembly will be hosting the annual Knight of Patriotism on Friday October 30th at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Social Hall. The evening will include dinner, live music by Sounds of the Big Bands, a silent auction and raffles. Proceeds of this event will be donated to Honor Flight of Northern and Western Illinois and the Gary Sinise Foundation. Details about making a reservation will be communicated soon. Please save the date.
