PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
ONE HOUR WITH GOD
This week Philadelphia will be
hosting Pope Francis’ visit.
Many people will be flocking to
the city and many will travel
and even walk numerous miles.
While it is exciting and even
uplifting to be around our
Pontiff let us remember that our
Jesus is present upon our altar.
He is not miles away and He
waits for our private audience.
ADORERS PLEASE OFFER SOME OF YOUR
HOUR THIS WEEK FOR ALL THOSE MAKING
A PILGRIMAGE TO SEE OUR POPE. PRAY FOR
THEIR SAFETY AND SPIRITUAL RENEWAL.
PRAY ALSO FOR OUR HOLY FATHER THAT
HE IS SAFE AND HIS MESSAGE IS RECEIVED
WITH LOVE AND JOY.
**If you are unable to keep your hour of
Perpetual Adoration, please call the parish office
at 927-1154. We have a list of substitute Perpetual
Adorers who are available to take your hour.**
Adorers are needed for the following:
Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

AROUND THE PARISH A Prayer for our Military Personnel
Heavenly Father, As we
remember those who have
made the ultimate sacrifice
for our freedom, we think
of how they have followed
in the footsteps of your
Son, our Savior, Jesus
Christ. Please hold our
service men and
women in your strong
arms. Cover them with
your sheltering grace and presence as they stand in the
gap for our Protection. We also remember the families
of our troops, and ask for your unique blessings to fill
their homes with your peace, provision and strength to
fill their lives. May the members of our armed forces be
filled with courage to face each day and may they trust
in the Lord's mighty power to accomplish each task.
Let our military brothers and sisters feel our love and
support. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Today, The Church celebrates Catechetical Sunday. Those whom the community has designated to serve as catechists are being called forth to be commissioned for their ministry. Catechetical Sunday is a
wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel.
