SACRAMENTS

Baptisms are normally celebrated on Sunday at 11:45 am. Call the rectory at least one month in advance.

First Penance is celebrated by second graders who have attended CCD regularly for two years. Parents are required to attend preparatory meetings.

Lent/Advent: During Lent and Advent, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available every Monday evening. See bulletin for times.

Saturdays: The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available every Saturday from 4:30 - 5:00 pm or by appointment. First Eucharist is received by second graders who have attended CCD regularly for two years. Parents are required to attend preparatory meetings. Confirmation is celebrated in 8th grade for those who have attended CCD regularly.

Anointing of the Sick is administered as needed. Urgent calls will be answered at any time. Please call the rectory if anyone is home-bound or hospitalized. Matrimony must be scheduled at least one year in advance. Please call the rectory and speak to Father Frank to confirm the wedding date and to begin the preparation process.

THANK YOU I would like to thank all of our parishioners who volunteered to clean and decorate our church for Christmas. As always, our church is beautiful, and its beauty glorifies God. I would also like to thank all those who minister here at Pompei. Our CCD teachers, music ministry, ushers, lectors and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion and many volunteers all make Pompei such a prayerful place to worship. FUNDRAISERS We are selling red face masks with the “Keep Christ in Christmas” logo and blue face masks with “Our Lady of Pompei” logo. The cost of the face masks is $10.00 each or 2 for $15.00. We are also holding a Christmas fundraiser from the Worcester Wreath Company. Please take the flyer from the entrance of the church. The last day for this fundraiser is December 31, 2020. 2022 MASS INTENTION BOOK Our Mass Intention book for 2022 will be open on Monday, January 25, 2021. Masses will not automatically be carried over from 2021.

LEARNING OUR FAITH Learning our Faith will not meet on Tuesday December 29th. Our class will resume on Tuesday, January 5th. Please consider joining us to learn more about our faith.
