Dear Parishioners: We had a very nice Festival! Our devoted community came together preparing delicious food and working together for our success. Once again, our faith brought us together as a community. I want to thank everyone for the amazing job and for making our festival a success! We are attaching the booth totals. We don't have the total profit yet as we are still paying some expenses. We will put the final numbers in the bulletin as soon as possible. Remember that all the efforts that we have made together is to fix our church and God will give back to us for what we do for Him. Queridos Feligreses: Tuvimos un buen Festival! Nuestra devota comunidad se unió para preparar deliciosa comida y trabajar juntos. Una vez más, nuestra fe nos unió como comunidad. ¡Quiero agradecer a todos por el trabajo increíble y por hacer que nuestro festival sea un éxito! Estamos adjun-tando los totales de los puestos. Todavía no tenemos la ganancia total, ya que todavía estamos pagando algunos gastos. Pondremos los números finales en el boletín lo antes posible. In today’s Gospel, Jesus says that God is glorified when a disciple, grafted in Christ, produces abundantly and bears much fruit. The disciple must then be a steward of that abundance.

Preparing for Next Sunday Sixth Sunday of Easter

In the first reading, Peter speaks of fearing the Lord and doing his work, and the Holy Spirit comes upon the believers. Peter commands even the Gentiles who have received the Holy Spirit to be baptized. In John’s First Letter, he writes of loving one another because God is love, and he abides in us when we love. Jesus explains in the Gospel that we are commanded to love as he has loved - by laying down our lives for each other.

Confirmation 2017 Confirmation Rehearsal and Mass 2017 candidates and sponsors are required to attend mandatory Rehearsal on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 PM in the church. On Confirmation Day, Friday, May 4 at 5:30 PM in the gym to meet with the bishop. Both will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Place Blvd, Houston 77017. First Saturday Parents Meeting 2018 parents are reminded of the First Saturday Parents Meeting on Saturday, May 5 at 6:00 PM. If the parents are not able to attend, the sponsor or an adult may represent in their absence.
