The Sacrament of Confirmation for Our Lady of Mercy will be held at 2 PM on May 19, 2018. Please consider sup-porting our candidates with prayer and attending the service! E Center: May 6th we will have DVDs for borrowing. New ones for the children Brother Francis, Bible Stories and Veg-gie Tales. Also, we have DVDs for adults about the Saints. Come by our E Center or check the outside table. We have beautiful rosaries and Brother Francis coloring books in the E Center, located in the left front of church.

RCIA: For persons wanting to know more about the Catholic faith, please call Charlene 530-356-2184. Pantry Mission is seeking volunteers to hand out grocery bags every Thursday morning from 8 –10 AM in the parish hall. To volunteer. Contact Ruth Smith: 243-8705.

Vacation Bible School helps keep our children excited about their faith. Studies demonstrate that religious faith and spirituality can and do have a positive impact on our mental and physical well-being. To volunteer for the July 2018 VBS please call Michelle at 530-222-3424.

Rummage Sale Preparation begins Monday, April 30th in

the parish hall. We need your help, please call the office or come down to the church to volunteer. We will be preparing daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. We are in need of plastic bags for the rummage sale. Please bring any you would like to donate to the parish hall this week.

Annual OLM Rummage Sale. It’s almost here and it promises to be a great event. Friday and Saturday, May 4th and 5th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Sunday, May 6th.9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Enjoy a snack from Rita’s Ice Cream or the Knights of Columbus Hamburger/Hot Dog stand. There is an incredible inventory of wonderful items for sale! Join us to shop and enjoy the fellowship of our community. All

proceeds benefit Our Lady of Mercy Church.

Catholic Daughters will be selling raffle tickets for their annual Mother’s Day Basket and Afghan Drawing on Friday and Saturday at the Rummage Sale. Tickets will also be sold after Sunday morning Masses on the 6th. The draw-ing will be held at 12:30. All proceeds benefit the NVCSS Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program.
