Mass Intentions January 17 to January 25

Prayer for the Sick Father of goodness and love, hear our

prayers for the sick members of our com-munity and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they

find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole

and free downcast spirits. May these spe-cial people find lasting health and deliver-ance, and so join us in thanking you for all

your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.

Amen.

TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening (1 Samuel 3:3b-10, 19). Psalm — Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will (Psalm 40). Second Reading — Your bodies are members of Christ; glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:13c-15a, 17-20). Gospel — The first disciples saw where Jesus was staying and they stayed with him (John 1:35-42).
