OLC-ELC
It’s a busy week here at OLC-ELC as we prepare
for our Scholastic Book Fair, Parent/Teacher Con-
ferences, and the parish’s 24th Annual Christmas
Craft Fair & Bazaar this Saturday, Nov. 22.
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open during pre-
school pick up & drop off this week, as well as at
the Craft Fair. The Craft Fair is open to the public
starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and will end at
3:00 p.m. Stop by to do some holiday shopping at
local artisans, eat a tasty treat, take a picture with
Santa, visit our book fair, or try your luck at a raffle.
We hope to see you there! If you can lend a hand,
please sign up on our Volunteer Spot link, which
can be found on our school website at
www.olcelc.com.
ON RETREAT: Fr. Eschbach left on November 9,
for Milton, Massachusetts, for an 8-day Ignatian
Retreat, that is, doing the Spiritual Exercises formu-
lated by St. Ignatius of Loyola, who founded the So-
ciety of Jesus, better known as the Jesuits.
This is the religious community and the spirituali-
ty that gave us Pope Francis. Please pray for Fa-
ther during this time of prayer and be assured of
his prayers for all the members of our parish.
Father will return on November 19.
SENIOR LUNCHEON
Please join us on Thursday, November 20, at
noon, at the SPC for a spectacular Thanksgiving
meal featuring turkey, filling, mashed potatoes and
other delicious sides.
Please bring a dessert to share. To assure enough
dinner is prepared, please R.S.V.P. Joanne Nolan
at 610-857-3176.
Donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
Income Expenses Deficit
In order to make you aware of the collections weekly versus our weekly expenses, we will be publishing both in the bulletin with a comparison to last year’s income and expenses. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mary Wishneski at [email protected] or 610-857-3510. Thank you for your support of your parish!

PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY
Please remember in your prayers all of the men and
women who are serving our country in the armed
forces.
Lord, protect them and their families for the selfless
acts they perform for us.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
Amen.
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
Santa is coming to the Schneider Parish Center!
Please join us for our annual Breakfast with Santa on
Saturday, December 13, from 9:00-11:30am.
All are welcome and encouraged to join in on the
fun.
A Breakfast with Santa committee is being formed
and we are looking for volunteers to assist with this
event. Please contact Wendy Michalski at 215-776-
5091 or [email protected].

Advent Study Begins November 25
Perhaps the best Christmas gift you could give is one
for yourself. Please consider spending just one hour
a week during the Advent season to spiritually pre-
pare for the beautiful feast of our Lord's birth.
CAFÉ, our adult faith enrichment group, will be of-
fering an Advent Study starting Tuesday, November
25 and continuing on three consecutive Thursdays,
December 4, 11, and 18.
We will meet from 7:00-8:00 pm in the lower level
of the Schneider Parish Center, to read and discuss
the Scripture passages for the upcoming Sunday
Mass.
We will also talk about ways to live out our faith
during the Advent season so that Christmas will be
more meaningful to us.
The study book is optional, and will cost approxi-
mately $8. To register, please send email to
[email protected], or call Sue Brown at
610-857-2026.
Advent Daily Reflection from Father Barron
If you would like to receive a daily email reflection
from Father Robert Barron during Advent, you can
sign up by going to http://adventreflections.com/ .
Father Barron offered a similar program during Lent,
and many of our parishioners found it rewarding.
Father Barron’s “Catholicism” Series
on Sunday Mornings
Refresh & Renew, our Adult Sunday School pro-
gram, is presenting Father Barron’s “Catholicism”
Series on Sunday morning from 9:15-10:45am.
We meet in one of the center classrooms downstairs
at the SPC.
This is open to all parishioners, and you are wel-
come to drop in any time throughout the school year.
We watch 25 minutes of the DVD presentation, and
then follow up with a very relaxed, faith-filled dis-
cussion.
Hope to see you there!

area residents this Thanksgiving morning.
We need: turkeys to be cooked and deboned (we
provide the turkeys.) Food to be put into contain-
ers. Set up and clean up
Plan on coming out on Thanksgiving morning for an
hour (9:30-10:30 am) and join in on this annual
morning of fellowship.

[email protected] for additional information.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
As we have for the past several years, OLC will be
participating in a Christmas Giving Program for
needy children.
The tags will be on the trees at the back of each wor-
ship site starting this weekend, November 15/16,
and continuing through the weekend of November
29/30.
Please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. $50 per child, no gift cards.
2. If more than one gift is purchased for the
child, please package as one.
3. Mark each gift with the child’s first name,
child, ID and family ID
4. Please return your gift to one of our worship
sites by Friday, December 5.
It’s very important that donors return their gifts by
the December 5 deadline to allow sufficient time for
the coordinators to prepare for the gift distribution.
Thank you so much for participating in this ministry.
For many children, this will be their only Christmas
gift.
If you have any questions, please contact Sandy
Hodorovich at [email protected] or call
484-716-3192.
You may also contact the rectory office.
