Our director is Mr. Krzysztof Wołejko. Our deputy director is Mrs. Ewa

Jablonska.

Naszym dyrektorem jest pan Krzysztof Wołejko od 1991 roku . Naszą

wicedyrektorką jest Ewa Jabłońska.

Our patron is Nicolaus Copernicus.

Za patrona mamy jednego z najsławniejszych Polaków na całym

świecie Mikołaja Kopernika.

Mikołaj Kopernik

Nicolaus Copernicus (19 February 1473 – 24 May 1543) -was  polish astronomer who formulated a heliocentric model of the universe which placed the Sun, rather than the Earth, at the center. The publication of Copernicus' book, De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.

Mikołaj Kopernik(ur. 19 lutego 1473 w Toruniu, zm. 24 maja 1543 we Fromborku) – polski astronom, autor dzieła O obrotach sfer niebieskich i teorii heliocentrycznej.

In our school learn over thousand pupils and about 100 teachers works in it.

Do naszej szkoły uczęszcza ponad tysiąc uczniów, a pracuje w niej

około 100 nauczycieli.

After the extension we have a  bigger gymnasium, pitch and more

classrooms.

Po rozbudowie mamy wielkie boisko szkolne, hale

gimnastyczną i dodatkowe sale lekcyjne.

History of our school

Historia naszej szkoły

In 1920 was created the first 7-class Public Primary School number 1

in a wooden building.

W 1920 powstała pierwsza 7-klasowa Publiczna Szkoła Powszechna nr 1 w

drewnianym budynku na terenie koszar. 

It was destroyed during the war.

Została zniszczona w czasie wojny.

After the war Piotr Chruściel organised a new school in the current district of

Legionowo. Later the school was given her name of the Primary School number 1

in Legionowo.

Po wojnie zorganizowano nową szkołę na terenie obecnej dzielnicy Legionowa

przez Piotra Chruściela. Później nadano jej nazwę Szkoły Podstawowej Nr 1 w

Legionowie.

On 31 XII 1956 the new building was officialy opened and it functions up to

this day.

W 31 XII 1956 r. uroczyście przekazano do użytku nowy

budynek, który funkcjonuje do dziś.

On 13 October 1973 there was a ceremony school by the name of Nicolaus Copernicus.

13 października 1973 r. odbyła się uroczystość nadania imienia szkole,

przekazania sztandaru oraz odsłonięcia tablicy pamiątkowej patrona - Mikołaja

Kopernika.

From 1 August 2012, was created the School Complex number 1 in

Legionowo.

Od 1 sierpnia 2012 roku został utworzony Zespół Szkół nr 1 w

Legionowie.

We are proud of the history of our school and we would like to continue its achievements in different subject.

Jesteśmy dumni z historii naszej szkoły i pragniemy kontynuować jej

osiągnięcia w zakresie różnych przedmiotów.
