CEO BACKGROUND & MESSAGE

PW Pretorius has more than 24 years of experience in Water Purification/Filtration and chemical industry. He

acted as the CEO of Metsi Chem Ikapa (PTY) Ltd (George) for many years. PW has exceptional knowledge of the

chemical industry, Water Purification and is also a subject matter expert on chlorine gas.

OUR HISTORY

Established in 1996, ULTRA WATER is a South African owned company specializing in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, bulk chemicals (import and export) and embracing environmental and chemical engineering applications. The company is based in Cape Town and George along with representation regional satellite offices in George, Port Elizabeth, East London, Johannesburg and neighboring countries. ULTRA WATER has developed a strong reputation for technical development in the water and wastewater industry by pioneering and developing systems, methods and equipment designs, leading to efficient procedures and practices being implemented throughout all our projects in South Africa and neighboring countries. OUR PROUD TRANSPORT SYSTEM

We at Ultra Water understand that your business requires a product that is on time, therefore we use a

variety of trusted transporters to make sure that all our clients receives their products on-time, every time

with no delays.

The galvanizing industry represents the single largest market for zinc and provides the greatest opportunities

to maximize the advantages of zinc to the world – that of protecting steel against corrosion, thus ensuring the

longevity of the use of steel. The general, after fabrication, hot dip galvanizing industry protects around 25

million tons of steel per year and uses some 1.7 million tons of zinc representing around 22% or global

demand. Nevertheless, the development of the industry varies from region to region and these differences, in

types of markets serviced, market penetration and market maturity lead to product entering different markets

and different user perceptions, thus using bulk volumes of Hydrochloric Acid, delivering spent acid and

regenerating new products.

Ultra-Water currently serves galvanizers throughout South Africa to provide a quality on-time product in the

development of the galvanizing industry. We aim to be the preferred chemical supplier to this industry with key

point and cost-effective solutions for our customers.
