Our Brand

Salad Express is the go-to place for well-priced, mouthwatering, fast casual build your own

salads & wraps. We prioritize the quality of our ingredients, customer service, and diversity in

the customizability of our salads, and wraps. Our customers know and appreciate that by

showing incredible loyalty. You know, one day, we asked countless customers why they came

to salad express every day, and the most popular answer by far was, “YOU CAN EAT A SALAD

EVERY DAY, BUT YOU CAN’T EAT A BURGER EVERY DAY”

As consumer tastes shift away from mass-produced fast food to slightly more upscale "fast

casual" restaurant experiences, longtime kings, and queens are under attack. Salad Express, is a

fast-casual restaurant, that specializes in build your own salads & wraps. We also serve soups,

sandwiches, and other hot items. This concept was founded in 2010 in Peachtree City, Georgia

by John Kang. John is a can-do-it-all type of person, that has restaurant skills spanning decades

ever since he worked at his parent’s restaurant. He is the perfect guy to grow a franchise with.

He’s one of the hardest working people you’ll know, and quickly you’ll realize how self-less and

dedicated he is to the success of his investors, employees, customers, franchise owners, etc.

Our Growth & Development

Salad Express is and has been a single owner franchise. John started the first Salad Express in

Peachtree City, and quickly realized the goldmine he was sitting on. Salad Express quickly went

from proof-of-concept to an incredibly successful restaurant grossing hundreds of thousands of

dollars a year.

He then opened up the second Salad Express in Atlanta. As we expected the second one became

a huge hit too. This type of success couldn’t be ignored. John then opened up our third location

in Roswell.

At this point, we feel we have proven that Salad Express is not a proof of concept anymore, and

have spent the last couple of years perfecting every single aspect of the franchise. We are now

opening up Salad Express to investors/franchise owners. We know Salad Express can dominate,

and be the next hot franchise on the rise.

Our Customers

Our customer demographics are incredibly diverse. We see no shortage of any race, gender, etc.

What we have noticed though is 1 trait that seems to appear in all our customers… they are all

very well educated on their food. Customers these days have become very well educated, and

much more conscious of the type of food they eat. Healthy, clean food is crucial to people’s

lifestyles nowadays. It’s widely known that big franchises are suffering right now because they

chose to cut quality of food to make extra profit. We speak to our customers, and are shocked

by how well educated they are on “which franchises chicken is fake”, or “which franchise uses

frozen, then microwaved soup”.

That’s our biggest strength though. We cut no corners, and our customers love us for that.

Nobody else right now offers what we can, and the healthy food scene is growing by the billions

every year. This is a phenomenal time to capitalize on this. According to FiveStars, Salad

Express’s customer loyalty program, 54% of our customers dine with us at least 2 times per

month, and 22% of our customers dine with us at least 1 time per week.
