Why do organizations create mid- and long-term plans? To have a clear vision for the future of the organization and a strategic path for moving towards that vision To empower their people and enable them to see the bigger picture of where the organization wants to go To be proactive instead of reactive 6. Europe 2020 Europe 2020 is the EU's growth strategy for the coming decade. In a changing world, we want the EU to become a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. These three mutually reinforcing priorities should help the EU and the Member States deliver high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion. 7. One Microsoft Going forward, our strategy will focus on creating a family of devices and services for individuals and businesses that empower people around the globe at home, at work and on the go, for the activities they value most. 8. What about AIESEC? 9. AIESEC 2015 The last decade (or so) in a nutshell 10. The year was 1999 and AIESEC was in a defining moment 11. The impact of AIESEC 2005 The longest period of continuous exchange growth in recent history; The start of a global change process that led to the AIESEC Experience, the Global Brand, and more (including integrated learning);The alignment of a structured global planning process; The idea of stakeholders as a guiding priority; Vision and motivation for many members globally. 15. AIESEC 2010! The delegates at International Congress 2005 in Agra, India created the statements for AIESEC 2010. 16. Important contents Rapidly growing network; Agents of positive change defined further by the global competency model; Increasing volume of AIESEC Experiences later on defined by the 2010 goals; Thriving local and global communities of learning; First choice amongst young people and organizations; Every day; Every member symbolizing the importance of the individual. 17. The impact of AIESEC 2010 Highest growth rate in exchange, members and leaders in recent history; The start of a global change process that led to the further development of the AIESEC Experience, the Balanced Scorecard, Global Competency Model, among other strategic implementations; The alignment of a focused bottom-line; The idea of first choice as a guiding priority; Ambition and motivation for members and entities globally. 18.
