Our fully licensed Epic Centre oers the largest wedding venue space in the county, and we

specialise in hosting the big day for 300 up to 1,200 seated guests. With three versatile halls that

can be used as one large area or separated into three dierent rooms plus plenty of outdoor space available, the Epic Centre has been host to dozens of large weddings for families needing space and

flexibility since it opened in 2008.

beautiful anchoring point for a marquee of your choice. Whether you have 20 or 200 wedding guests, create your very

own bespoke wedding venue.

Tennyson PavilionOur secluded ringside Tennyson Pavilion o�ers an exclusive space ideal for smaller wedding receptions of up to 40 guests, with the option to extend the space for

up to 120 with a marquee.

The Epic Centre is fully equipped with kitchen space and a dedicated catering team, oering a huge amount of

flexibility and creativity with our menus.

We’ll work with you to create the perfect menu for you and your guests, so if you have something di�erent in mind or if you’re working

to a theme we’d love to talk through our ideas with you. Alternatively, if you choose to work with your own professional catering team we can

provide full use of our kitchen* for the day as long as they meet the Health & Safety standards required by law.

*We strongly recommend that your catering team views our kitchen in advance. Please note, external caterers must provide any additional

support (including sta�, cutlery and crockery)

Wedding booking conditions

1. At the time of booking we require a deposit of 50% of the total room hire. This will secure the Epic Centre, along with your signed contract

2. This deposit is non-refundable

3. The final balance is due three weeks before the wedding and all details must be confirmed by this time

4. The final balance will include room hire and any other additional costs

5. The hirer will be liable for any damages and losses during the event, and its contents by guests and any other parties in connection with the wedding

6. Charges will be raised at full replacement cost, and additional charges may be raised to cover loss of business incurred as a result of the damage; together with any labour charges also incurred

7. Lincolnshire Showground will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to guests’ property

Decorations and entertainment

1. Your suppliers are responsible for setting the table with tablecloths, crockery, cutlery, napkins, glassware and any other table decorations required

2. Any fabric decorations brought into the Lincolnshire Showground must be fire retardant

3. Decorations will be inspected prior to the wedding to ensure compliance to fire regulations

4. No fixings can be used that will cause damage to the building or its décor

5. The time to decorate the room and strip it down after the wedding must be included within the 12 hour booking. Access can be gained no earlier than 7am on the day of the event without prior arrangement

6. Additional hours outside the 12 hour period will be charged at £100 +VAT per hour

7. Any electrical equipment that is brought into the Epic Centre must be PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested by a qualified electrician and documents submitted

Kitchen use

1. All kitchen and compound areas are to be left clean at the end of the event. This will be inspected by our Front of House team

2. A £500 kitchen deposit will be required from your catering team or yourselves no later than eight weeks prior to the event. This will be refunded within seven days of your event day, providing the condition of the venue is left as it was found

3. Caterers will supply all kitchen and waiting sta�

4. Any electrical equipment that is brought into the Epic Centre by catering sta� must be PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested by a qualified electrician and documents submitted

5. As part of our commitment to food safety, the Lincolnshire Showground require confirmation from all suppliers, subcontractors, caterers and any others who provide food at the Lincolnshire Showground for any purpose, that they currently operate in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990 and associated regulations, codes of practice and industry guides. All relevant food safety documents, insurance certificates and food hygiene ratings must be level three or above for all caterers

6. We require all documents no later than a month before the event

Cancellation policy

In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking with the Lincolnshire Showground, we reserve the right to charge the cancellation of an event under the following sums:

Cancellation 12 weeks prior to event deposit only (50% of your overall room hire)

Cancellation 3 – 11 weeks prior to event 75% of the total cost

Cancellation 1 – 21 days prior to event 100% of the total cost
