GAME 5 - OTTAWA 4 AT PITTSBURGH 3, 3OT Thursday, April 22: The longest game in Senators' franchise history was decidedwhen Carkner tallied his first career playoff goal (and point) at 7:06 of the third overtime period to lift Ottawa to a 4-3 win at MellonArena. Dan Bylsma completed his 1st full NHL season behind the bench for the Pittsburgh Penguins, leading the club to a 47-28-7 record for 101points –breaking 100 points for the 6th time in franchise history and third in the last four years. In just one-plus seasons at the NHL level,Bylsma already has two playoff berths and one Stanley Cup title on his resume. Bylsma also became the eighth-fastest coach in NHL history tohit the 50-win mark (78 games).
