Each user provides Ossia with a “routing profile”indicating where best to reach him or her at giventimes. It’s a one-time task that takes just a few minutes.

The interface even gives you real-timeinformation about your contacts’ current availability,which makes it easier for you to decide whom tocontact, and when.

From any telephone. Ossia lets you use simplevoice commands to initiate its search-and-contactfeatures. Dial in from any phone, authenticate youruser identity with a personal PIN code, and simplytell Ossia, for example, to “find Bill, Larry, Jill, andLouise.” Ossia will locate your contacts and conferenceyou with them in a matter of seconds.

Persistent Contact Search. Ossia does what noother “reach” technology can: it ignores answeringmachines, busy signals, and “ring-no-answers,” andkeeps searching until it finds the actual, live personwho is able to begin a conversation...now.

Alternatively, if Glenda only had access to a telephone—any telephone, anywhere— she would simply tell Ossiato “find Bob,” and Ossia would get to work.

Ossia’s routing features notonly make locating and contacting Glenda’s colleagues virtually effortlesson her part, but give Mark, Casey, and Bob complete control over where,when, and how Glenda can contact them.

Each has taken a few minutes to create a personal Ossia routingprofile. When Ossia attempts to locate and contact them, it uses theirrouting profiles to determine which locations to try, and in what sequence.If they prefer not to be contacted at a particular location (a home phone,for example), they can specify that. And, they can easily change their preferences at any time.
