    Oskar & Gaspar is a collective of visual arts and multimedia professionals with more than 15 years of experience in the elds of videomapping, 3D projection, and stage design.

    Thanks to a complete understanding of these innovative disciplines, we develop projects that are in touch with the current economic climate.In fact, we take pride in investigating all possible solutions to best cater to the desires and needs of our clients.

    Identity:Oskar and Gaspar are precisely the twin brothers one would im-agine: complicit in their actions, always dressed alike, and taking

    great pleasure in being indistinguishable to the outside world.

    They are shy, and scarce in their public appearances. They valuetheir anonymity and only wish to be recognized through the qual-ity of the work they produce.

    The story of Oskar & Gaspar is one of constant ambition and

    self-discovery. Born in Portugal, the dynamic duo grew up in Sin-gapore, where they took their rst steps in the eld of visual arts.They immediately felt a deep fascination for video and multime-dia, which led them down the path of VJing, a proper outlet for

    their boundless curiosity and creativity. It wasnt too long untilthey got involved with video mapping

    Concept:Video mapping is a complex technique that consists in turn-

    ing any surface into a projection screen. It has rapidly gainedpopularity over the past years, and is credited with breaking

    down the conventions of visual content projection. In additionto utilizing the volumes, details, and specificities of every sur-

    face, Oskar & Gaspar take video mapping to a new level withthe 3D content that gives movement and life to the otherwise

    static. In this regard, video mapping surpasses the physical

    constraints of a given projection medium, and infinitely ex-pands the limits of creativity.

    Project:Intrigued by the innite possibilities of video mapping, Oskar &Gaspar grew more and more certain of the next logical step for

    their career. When came the time to start their company, theydidnt need to look any further than to their own roots: Lisbon, a

    city whose spirit they truly identify with. All that was left to do wasto join forces and create a dynamic work group with a few of their

    Portuguese friends that were driven by the same zeal.Having found the team they were hoping for, Oskar & Gaspar

    could nally dedicate themselves to what they love most: spend -ing hours in the studio, pressing buttons, creating magic, and most

    of all, making jaws drop.

    I Lost My Heart in Lisbon

    Location: Terreiro do Pao (Lisbon, Portugal)Description: After a call for proposals by the Lisbon Tourism Oce fora summer-themed video mapping show, Oskar & Gaspar made the

    winning bid with a show idea that truly captured the spirit of Lisbonin the summertime. In fact, all typical elements of Lisbon that one

    might think of were present: popular landmarks, street art, tiles, cob-ble stones, sunshine, and water, to name a few. The core of Oskar &

    Gaspars proposal was to transcribe the spirit and energy of Lisbon

    into a unique visual experience. The show was run three times perday from the 30th of August to the 8th of September.

    Noite de Luz e Fogo - 80th anniversary ofINATEL Foundation

    Client: INATEL FoundationYear: 2015Location: Terreiro do Pao (Lisbon, Portugal)

    Description: To commemorate its 80 years of existence, INATEL Foun-dation presented a grand show highlighting their history, starting from

    their creation in 1935. A 40-meter stage and a 400 square-meter screenwere set up as the backbone of the show. Oskar & Gaspar created the

    entirety of 2D and 3D visual contents, which integrated several images

    from the archives of the foundation. The show was a lively and vibranttribute to INATEL and its great contribution to providing social assistan-ce, with a perfect symbiosis between the video mapping and the liveperformances by Portuguese artists on stage. Over 60,000 spectators

    were present.

    Location: Terreiro do Pao (Lisbon, Portugal)Description: In this show, Oskar & Gaspar explore the deep connec-

    tions between Lisbon and the sea, taking into account historical, social,

    and cultural aspects of this complex relationship. Using contemporaryand historical images, intertwined with 2D and 3D animations, the show

    reveals the intimacy of the Portuguese capital with its ocean, takingus on a journey from the caravels of the Age of Discovery, to shingvessels, to Nautical sports. The projections took place three times a dayfrom the 22nd to the 31st of May.

    Year: 2015

    Location: Terreiro do Pao (Lisbon, Portugal)Description: Christmas tradition was present once again with a holi-

    day-themed show by Oskar & Gaspar. This family-oriented project was

    based on the advents calendar, and punctuated by a jolly group of elves

    opening the dierent doors and embarking the audience on a magicaltrip to the long-awaited day of Christmas. Various fantasy worlds were

    explored, with strong visual and sensory elements, feeding the collec-

    tive imagination of our spectators. The show was run three times a day

    from the 11th to the 20th of December, bringing together over 550,000

    people, under exclusive patronage by Coca-Cola.

    Location: Terreiro do Pao (Lisbon, Portugal)Description: Oskar & Gaspar were once again in charge of the sum-

    mer show for the city of Lisbon, bringing together a crowd of over200,000 people. For the rst time ever in this kind of event, we start -ed with a base of sound and video content, which we manipulatedand enhanced in a dierent way every time, making each one of theshows unique. The backbone of the project was the legend of the

    foundation of the city of Lisbon by Ulysses, which we presented in acompletely novel way by juxtaposing it with a modern-day tale of a

    romance between two lovers in the city. To highlight the duality and

    parallelism between the two representations of the story, we opted forAncient Greek-style illustrations, which magically transitioned into re-al-life images through striking 3D visuals and innovative video/graphiccreation skills. An original soundtrack was created for the show by

    DJs Ride & Holly, who were also in charge of curating the DJs forthe entertainment of the crowd during intermissions. In addition, we

    provided an interactive form of entertainment, allowing people to playPong (legendary arcade game) on the walls of the projection facade.Oskar & Gaspar further innovated in this production by live streaming

    the show worldwide. The show was run three times a day from the 7thto the 16th of August.

    Luanda Blue Fest - 10th Anniversary

    Location: Coqueiros Stadium (Luanda, Angola)Description: Oskar & Gaspar were in charge of the rst-ever videomapping show in Angola, for the beverage company BLUE, a leaderin the local soda market. The event l asted 8 hours, with performances

    by several DJs, as well as a dream team group made up of 24 of An-

    golas most notorious new wave music scene. Exclusive 2D and 3Dcontents were created for the company and projected at two distinct

    moments of the celebration, which brought together over 25,000 spec-tators. The event was kicked o by a 5-minute video mapping show,which was not only rich in Angolas most iconic symbols, but also sub-tly incorporated information about Blues brand identity and products.

    To mark the start of the second part of the event, Oskar & Gaspar

    opted for a mix of video mapping and VJing, rich in movement andgraphic details, and always incorporating Blues logo in a tasteful way.

As each nomineeperformed, their short clip, which had been reworked by our VJs,played in the background, creating a unique visual experience.

Oskar & Gaspar was responsible for theproduction of the rst-ever video mapping to be broadcast live on Portu-guese television, which was dedicated to the renowned Portuguese ar-chitect, Souto Moura, and the prestigious Pritzker Prize of Architecturehe was awarded in 2011. The show produced by Oskar & Gaspar paidhomage to the genius of Souto Moura by recreating his most notoriousdesigns, in sync with a live dance performance by Momentum Crew tothe beat of the dynamic duo, Beatbombers.

    as Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. Using a technique developed through-

    out the human face mapping project, Oskar & Gaspars team mapped

    David Guettas face in a few scenes of the music video. The spectac-

    ular visuals have been greatly rewarded with over 80 million views on

    Location: Taberna das Almas (Lisbon, Portugal)Description: This original creation by Oskar & Gaspar, powered by Des-

    perados International, and with the support of FNY How agency, gavethe world a completely innovative angle on video mapping. For the rsttime ever, a mapping was executed on the entirety of the human body

    and on tattoos, giving them movement and li fe, and creating a dazzling

    optical illusion. The projection was documented by a three-minute vid-

    eo, to the beat of an original soundtrack by DJs Ride & Holly. Shortly

    after it was unveiled, the video obtained a Vimeo Sta Pick label (thesecond one for Oskar & Gaspar). After six weeks online, the video hadover four million views on dierent social networks, and was sharedby some of the biggest names in show business: Ashton Kutcher, Lil

    Wayne, George Takei, etc. Having attracted a lot of attention from inter-

    national media and digital platforms (HungtonPost, Buzzfeed, MTV,9Gag, Reddit, Sony, Ads of the World, Fubiz), Ink Mapping was featuredon The Creators Project (Vice) as one of the best mappings of 2015worldwide. At the Lusos Creativity Awards, Ink Mapping was awardedthree gold prizes: two for the Digital category and one for the PublicRelations category. The video now has over seven million views acrossvarious social networks.

    climate, sustainability, and green environmental approaches, Oskar

    & Gaspar was given a challenge: to create a grand-scale project that

    would be informative and visually engaging. Oskar & Gaspar succee-

    ded, by creating a unique immersive experience that literally transpor-

    ted the viewer to the heart of the matter. In fact, 12 video projectors

    were set up in an old theatre, where the four walls and the oor sur-rounding the viewer were turned into a projection area for a 22-minute

    documentary called Green [r]Evolution. The aim of the latter was toincite citizens to join the green cause by introducing them to the pro-

    mises and challenges of current Portuguese environmental projects,

    but also to outline the substantial progress that has already been

    made over the years. To make sure the experience and learning live

    on, an online version of this documentary was subsequently released

    on a website designed by Oskar & Gaspar.
