Thursday 4 July Peter Rabbit PartyHippity hop hooray, join us for a fun day! Journey down the rabbit hole as we celebrate all things Peter Rabbit. We’ll play Mr. McGregor chasey, search for the missing cottontail and bake delicious carrot cake. What an adventure!

Friday 5 July Magical Mischief Abracadabra and Alla-kazoo- a magical day to celebrate with you! Show us your best magic trick and create your own magic wand. Can you pull a rabbit out of a hat?

Monday 8 July Pyjama PartyStay in your pyjamas all day as we have our own Pyjama Party. Watch a movie, snack on some popcorn and help make and decorate your own cupcake treat to take home.

Tuesday 9 July Pottering AroundEXCURSION: Pottering Around (Additional Cost - $10) Please arrive by 9:00 amToday we head off on our excursion to ‘Pottering Around’ where we will have the chance to make a personalised plate and clay pinch pot. It will be a perfect pottery painting party!

Wednesday 10 JulyUnder the Sea Does something smell fishy? It may be Captain Swordfish burying treasure? Keep your eyes peeled for the ‘x’ that marks the spot. Have a whale of a time as we turn OSHC into a magnificent marine masterpiece! Create sand sculptures and bake seashell cookies. It’ll be a sea-riously good day!

Thursday 11 July Singing in the RainINCURSION: Face Painting (Additional Cost - $8) Face Painting from 1:00-3:00 pmDance and sing away the winter blues with a day at OSHC. Make hot chocolate, play musical chairs and perform in a talent show extravaganza. We will also have a visit from a face painter. What a glorious feeling!

Friday 12 July Spy Day Your mission today.... learn how to be a secret spy! Go through spy training, uncover mysteries and learn how to write secret coded messages. Will it be a mission impossible?

The indoor play centre has a multi-level framed play structure, Wacky Tacky Interactive Air Cannons and a Huge Triple Wacky Wave Slide! Please note: ALL CHILDREN MUST BRING SOCKS.

Let’s unearth some fun. Learn about fossils and bones today and become a real palaeontologist! You’ll dig for bones and puzzle the pieces together in a special incursion with Sciworld. We’ll have a dino-mite time!

Friday 19 July African SafariWalk on the wild side today as we head off on a scenic safari adventure. Design your own African rain stick, beautiful binoculars and amazing animal masks. We’ll have no worries today-Hakuna Matata!

Monday 22 July Amazing Race Ready, set, go! Clues to follow, detours to make, no time to drop - cake will be served at the final pit-stop! Join us for our race around Walford as we compete to make it to the finish line.

The Walford OSHC Holiday Program operates out of the Walford Early Learning Centre. This is located on the southern side of the gym on the corner of Unley Road and Northgate Street.

Fees$65.00. Eligible families will have the Child Care Subsidy applied. To find out more about the Child Care Subsidy please visit: http://www.education.gov.au/childcare. It is imperative to contact the service as soon as possible if you are intending to claim the Child Care Subsidy

Bookings & CancellationsAll children must be registered in Xplor prior to booking. In order for us to finalise staffing, please make your bookings at least 5 days in advance or an extra charge of $10.00 per child per session will be incurred. Any cancellations must be made with 14 days notice or the full session fee will apply. Please contact the service at [email protected] for more information about bookings.

ELC families will need to book by contacting [email protected] Your bookings will need to be entered manually.

What to Bring? All children must bring recess, lunch, afternoon tea, drink bottle of water and a broad brimmed hat. OSHC will provide access to drinking water. Children may bring their own sunscreen, otherwise they will be expected to wear OSHC sunscreen to participate in outside play. When packing lunchboxes, please make sure that you don’t bring any items that need to be heated or cooked. Please note that Walford is an allergy aware school. We ask that children attending the program do not bring nuts or nut products to the service. Please ensure you leave any toys (including tablets and smart phones) at home.

Late Collection A late collection fee of $5 per child per minute will be imposed when parents arrive later than the closing time of 6pm.

Policies All policies and procedures are available at the Walford OSHC service. Parent input is always welcome. Feel free to discuss any questions or concerns with the OSHC Facilitator.

Medication Medication can only be administered to a child with a Medication Authorised Form signed by the family. All children who require medication including an Auto-Adrenaline Device and/or Inhaler and Spacer must ensure they are provided to the service before attending. The medication must be in the original container in which it was dispensed bearing the child’s name, date, description of medication and dosage.

Data CollectionWalford Anglican School for Girls collects personal information, including sensitive information about students and parents or guardians before and during the course of a child’s enrolment with the service. This may be in writing or in the course of conversations. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the School to provide services to students, enable them to take part in all the activities of the School and for marketing/promotional purposes. Some of the information we collect is to satisfy the School’s legal obligations, particularly to enable the School to discharge its duty of care. Any questions in relation to the information collected by the service can be directed to the OSHC Facilitator. The School’s Privacy Policy can also be found on the Walford website.

Excursion ReminderPlease note excursions and incursions are an additional cost to the daily fee which will be applied to your Xplor account separately.
