The Division of Computer Studies organized a study tour to Osaka, Japan between 2nd and 8th June, 2010. A group of 24 students in the Associate of Science in Creative and Interac-tive Media Production (CIMP), and the Associate of Science in Network and System Admin-istration (NSA) programmes joined this study tour to widen their horizons in digital media and information technologies. Japan is one of the top Asian countries in design, art and new media and technologies, and also one of the closest competitors to Hong Kong in the tech-nology and media industries. The creative media and IT industries are competing in a global environment. Grasping at the latest knowledge and development of computer technologies in our neighboring region will definitely benefit to our students.
