Android 2.2 “Froyo” Operating System LG AXIS ™ OS Upgrade Manual PC requirements for LG Mobile Support Tool: • 1GHz or higher Pentium-compatible processor • At least 256 MB of RAM (memory) • Windows® 2000 (SP4 or later) or Windows XP (SP1 or SP2), Windows Vista® , or Windows 7 • Administration rights on the PC for software installation • High-speed Internet connection Preparation and Remarks: Back Up Contacts to microSD™ Card Step 1: Your phone should already have a compatible microSD memory card inserted. On your phone, go to Contacts icon > Menu Key > Import/Export. Step 2: Select Export to SD card. When prompted, select OK. Your contacts will now be transferred to the SD card. 1 4 7 2 3 Fully charge the battery. Remove the microSD™ card. The update takes approximately 10-30 minutes. Close any applications before proceeding with the update. Please connect your USB cable directly to the PC. (Do not use a USB hub.) Do not disconnect the USB cable until the update is complete. OncetheUSBdriverisinstalled,connectyourphonetoyourPCwithaUSBcable.ThetoolwillcheckthePC’sconnectionwiththephone.(Ifconnectionstatusisnotprogressing,pleasecloseandreopenLGMobileSupportTool.)

Yourphonewillnowbegindownloadingtheupdate.
Step 4:
ClickStart Updating.Thetoolwillanalyzethephoneenvironment,i.e.,checkconnectionstatuswiththephone.Youwillseethefollowingwindow:

Ifyourphonedoesnothaveenoughspace,youwillneedtouninstallunwantedapplicationsor,ifpermitted,moveapplicationstoyourmicroSDcard.
Otherwise,theupgradewillbeginasshownbelow:
Yourphonewillthenbegintoinstalltheupdate.DonotdisconnecttheUSBcable.
Ifyourphone’susermemoryhaslessthan23MBoffreespace,yourupgradewillstop,andyouwillseethefollowingerrormessage:

Restore Contacts from microSD Card
Step 1:
