• Field next to lake Victoria located in the Flood plain • Houses away from the flood plain

Soil

• Soils rejuvinated • Highly weathered• Ferrosols, Cambisols, Nitisols• Large clay content

o Red and yellowish colors

Animals 

• GOATS - Usually from 2 to 5 goats/farm.• CHICKEN - Around 5

  • Goats grazing around the farm• Have to pay a child or an old person to look after them

during the day•  Manure can be used in the garden

  • No animals used for labor• Kind of a bank account - Insurance• Can sell them on the market • Eat them for special occasions
