Facilities Development

GOALS:

(1) Conduct a needs assessment to support program scheduling as well

as improve quality of the playing fields and team/program needs.

(2) Develop a lighting plan, plan for stadium repair and upgrades and

field surfacing for year round access and playability.

Past Field Improvements

Phase I – Potable Water, Well Repair & Upgrades (spring / early summer 2016)

Phase II – Irrigation replacement (spring/summer 2016)• Newburg Irrigation installed new irrigation system on all fields prior to August 1st , 2016• Remaining areas (peripheral field space, office buildings) were completed August 26th , 2016

Phase III – Maintenance & Service plan (Fall 2016 onward)• New Service Agreement & equipment• Staff with sports facility specific experience & education• Improved field maintenance and servicing

(1) Form parent/guardian advisory group from membership (spring 2019), (2) HR

operations; training, support and development (summer / fall 2019), (3) create

mechanism for volunteer “experience” feedback & ideas, (4) ensure that all

volunteers have access to information & resources and (5) ensure that all volunteers

receive positive reinforcement and feedback throughout their service.

Goals; (1) The goal is to make soccer affordable and develop additional streams of revenue that can

support the membership and (2) and maximize member satisfaction by adding value to the club beyond

soccer.

(a) Seek additional sources of revenue (sponsorship & fundraising). (b) Annual fundraising events to

support our financial assistance program (2018+), (c) seek partnerships to add value to membership

(2019+). (d) Improve member interaction, engagement & communication (2018-19) through member

specific events (2018+). (e) ask for assistance & feedback.
