Orlando’s 21 community centers and 17 fire stations have significantly high EUI’s and are currently undergoing LED retrofits and HVAC upgrades.
City of Orlando’s College ParkCommunity Center was able torealize a 28% energy reduction inthe year 2017 due to energyefficiency upgrades.

• AWS award to pilot Amazon’s "Rekognition Video and Acuity technology"

• Incentivize connected and sustainable development
• Deploy distributed energy resources to improve grid resilience
• Provide benchmarking information to real-estate marketplace
• Piloting big data technology to improve building portfolio performance
Transportation
• Developed “Central Florida AV Partnership” and became designated proving
ground city by USDOT
• Deployed over 350+ EV charging stations around Metro-Orlando
• Implemented EV’s for City Hall motor pool and OPD motorcycles
• Piloting EV buses in Lymmo
• Installed Smart parking meters and real-time sensors
