Amway Center RetrofitsThe Amway Center is undergoing a 3 phase energy

efficiency retrofit that will produce savings of $960,000 annually once complete.

Orlando’s 21 community centers and 17 fire stations have significantly high EUI’s and are currently undergoing LED retrofits and HVAC upgrades.

City of Orlando’s College ParkCommunity Center was able torealize a 28% energy reduction inthe year 2017 due to energyefficiency upgrades.

• Establishing OPD Body cameras and audio recorders on all personnel

• Deployed 178 IRIS cameras throughout the City to improve public safety

• Enabled ‘Emergency signal priority’ for Traffic lights

• Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) to improve response time

• AWS award to pilot Amazon’s "Rekognition Video and Acuity technology"

• Incentivize connected and sustainable development

• Deploy distributed energy resources to improve grid resilience

Transportation

• Developed “Central Florida AV Partnership” and became designated proving

ground city by USDOT

• Deployed over 350+ EV charging stations around Metro-Orlando

• Implemented EV’s for City Hall motor pool and OPD motorcycles

• Piloting EV buses in Lymmo

• Installed Smart parking meters and real-time sensors
