• Dare valore aggiunto in termini di creatività ed innovatività all’ingegneria
dei prodotti per gli impianti nucleari è stato obiettivo primario di Ansaldo
Nucleare per difendere la propria identità in un mercato internazionale
sempre più competitivo e con players sempre più agguerriti.
• Fornire prodotti ad alta tecnologia ed a prezzi competitivi è stata la risorsa
primaria per difendere il prestigio di un’Azienda rimasta senza business a
valle del referendum post Chernobyl.
• E la storia si ripete allo stesso modo a valle dell’incidente in Giappone.
• Si sono inventati prodotti innovativi nella tecnologia dei Reattori Nucleari
Passivi (sistema di refrigerazione passiva sia del Core che del Contenitore)
per fare fronte ad eventi incidentali fuori da ogni base di progetto analoghi
a quanto accaduto in Fukushima.

• Si sono definite nuove tecnologie innovative nelle modalità di
costruzione sia delle opere civili (Moduli strutturali) che impiantistici
(Moduli meccanici) per tenere sotto controllo la variabile temporale.
• Si sono studiate e qualificate tecnologie di fabbricazione ed
assemblaggio per la realizzazione di contenitori a vuoto e divertori per
reattori a fusione.
• Sono stati sviluppati nuovi concetti di impianti nel rispetto dei requisiti
di sostenibilità e non proliferazione diventando leader in Europa nello
Studio dei reattori di IV generazione refrigerati a piombo.
• Approcci integrati “Repowering & Estensione Vita Impianti “ sono state
le grandi sfide sul mercato internazionale del service nei Grandi Impianti
Nucleari per la Produzione di Energia.

collaborazione dell’Industria ha raggiunto livelli di eccellenza anche nello
sviluppo dei Reattori di IV generazione.
L’entusiasmo e la creatività tutta italiana ci permettono di fare fronte alle
grandi sfide europee sopperendo alla cronica carenza di fondi per la ricerca.
Si lavora sui reattori sotto-critici, sui reattori refrigerati a piombo, sugli “small
modular reactor”.
