Origin of the Pledge of Allegiance

History

Old Glory

Creation of the Pledge

The Pledge was created in 1892 by Francis Bellamy.

It was a gimmick for the Chicago World's Fair celebration in honor of the Quadri-centennial of Columbus' arrival in America.

The U.S. Government made plans for a national Public School Celebration for Columbus Day, 1892.

Sponsors

This gimmick was sponsored by the editors of The Youth's Companion, a popular family magazine of the late 19th century.

They also sponsored the celebration and made it their goal to get every public school in America to raise a flag while students recited a salute — but first, a salute had to be written.Note: We suspect that this magazine was owned by national socialists as you'll see in the next slide.

Francis Bellamy

Francis Bellamy was a Baptist minister who was forced out of his Boston church for his socialist sermons.

He was assigned to write the Pledge of Allegiance for The Youth's Companion.

The pledge he wrote was recited by an estimated 10 million schoolchildren on Columbus Day, October 12, 1892.

The Bellamy Pledge

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation

indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

— Columbus Day, October 12, 1892

Changes to the Pledge

Over the years many changes were suggested but none of them were formally adopted.

The U.S, Congress officially recognized the Pledge of Allegiance on June 22, 1942.

Changes to the Pledge

Following a campaign initiated by the Roman Catholic Knights of Columbus in 1954, Senator Homer Ferguson of Michigan sponsored a bill to insert the words “under God”.

This was to distinguish the U.S. from the “godless” communists and to keep us from worshiping a flag as a graven image.

Changes to the Pledge

What was originally a patriotic oath became a public prayer, too.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower said in 1954, this prayer “... will be our country's most powerful resource in peace and war.”

Current Pledge

Socialist Takeover of Education

Children in government schools were required to salute the flag with the original straight-arm salute and pledge written by a National Socialist, Francis Bellamy, to promote socialism in our nation.

The Bellamy Salute and Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the salute and pledge of allegiance of the National Socialist German Worker's Party (aka Nazis).

Socialist Takeover of Education

When the Pledge was written, most of the children in the U.S. were either home schooled or received non-government public education (the old one- room school).

They were taught to think like Freemen, not mindless robots.

However, that was soon to change...

The original Pledge used a straight-armed Salute!

U.S. Government Takeover of Education

Government education imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official policy.

More Salutes in AmericanPublic Schools

The Pledge began with a military salute that then extended outward toward the flag.

Bellamy's Influence in Italy and Germany

Bellamy was a self-proclaimed socialist in the nationalism movement of the day – post 1871.

His dogma later influenced fascists in Italy in the '30s under Mussolini, who later influenced the socialists in Germany, mainly Hitler.

Agenda of Socialism in the '30s

The swastika was used to represent “S” letters joined in the form of a cross for “socialism”

under the German National Socialists.

Agenda of Socialism in America

During the '30s, Preston Bush, the father of ex-president George Herbert Walker Bush, Sr., used his bank to launder money to fund Hitler's socialist programs.

Agenda of Socialism in America

A clique of power brokers, including Prescott Bush, sought to overthrow the U.S. government and implement Hitlerian policies

The conspirators were operating under the umbrella of a front group called the American Liberty League, which included many families that are still household names today, including Heinz, Colgate, Birds Eye, and General Motors.

Agenda of Socialism in America

In 1933, Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler was approached by these wealthy and secretive industrialists and bankers, including Prescott Bush.

They asked him to command a 500,000 strong rogue army of veterans that would help stage a coup to topple then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Agenda of Socialism in America

Butler played along with the clique to determine who was involved but later blew the whistle and identified the ringleaders in testimony given to the House Committee on un-American Activities.

However, the Committee refused to even question any of the individuals named by Butler and his testimony was omitted from the record.

The Committee was involved in covering the matter up and the majority of the media blackballed the story.

Bellemy's dogma lead to the “Wholecaust” (of which the Holocaust was a part)

62 million killed under the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics

49 million killed under the Peoples' Republic of China

21 million killed under the National Socialist German Workers' Party

Total = 134 million killed under Socialism

Socialist Takeover of America

After the attack on Pearl Harbor and our entering WWII, in order to prevent confusion or controversy over the salute, President Franklin D. Roosevelt instituted the hand-over-the heart gesture as the salute to be rendered by civilians during the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem in the United States, instead of the Bellamy Salute.

This was done when Congress officially amended the Flag Code on 22 December, 1942.

Socialist Takeover of America

Japanese Internees during WWII were forced to salute and pledge their allegiance to a flag of a government that incarcerated them simply because they were of Japanese descent.

In our public schools any child who refused to salute was expelled.

To this day children and adults alike are still ostracized and persecuted in some government schools or at some public events if they refuse to robotically chant the socialist pledge.

Commentary on the Pledge

When we broke away from Great Britain, we as a People became independent and individually sovereign.

Sovereigns need not, nor should they, pledge allegiance to anyone or anything, except God.

God created “The People”, who created the Constitution. The states ratified the Constitution and the Constitution created the government.

Government employees are our servants and absolutely need to pledge their allegiance to the People, to the flag and to the Republic.

Commentary on the Pledge

Whether we place our hand over our heart or raise it with a straight arm, the salute is counter to our sovereignty as a People. It's a symbol of Socialism and Nationalism (one of the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto).

Before this nationalist transition, starting in 1871 with the 14th Amendment and 1892 with the Bellamy Salute, we as a People prided ourselves as citizens of the free states we were born in or adopted and were proud of our individual sovereign rights and state citizenship.

In Conclusion

“The USA is still the worst example in the world of laws that require robotic chanting to a national flag in government schools (i.e., socialist schools)

“It has changed generations of Americans from libertarians to authoritarians.

“The government bamboozled individuals into believing that collective robotic chanting in government schools daily is an expression of freedom.”
