Origami Pig Instructions Origami is the Japanese art of making shapes and figures out of pieces of paper - you can even make animals. Follow the directions below to make your very own origami pig! Instructions: 1 Start with a square piece of paper, approximately 15cm x 15cm. 3 Next, turn the paper and bring edges to the centre crease. 5 Unfold the paper - you should have four equal rectangles. 2 Fold the paper in half. 4 Fold the paper in half along the crease. 6 Fold the paper together again and fold the right and left corners down. 7 Do the same on the other side.
9 Do the same on the left side.
11 Open the flap at the bottom.
8 Fold the right corner into the middle.
10 Unfold the flaps so it’s a rectangle again.
12 Flatten the top down so the flap forms a triangle on top of the rectangle.

13 Do the same thing on the left side.
15 Fold the right side of the left triangle along the middle.
17 Flip the paper over and do the same thing to the other triangles.
14 Flip your paper over and do the same thing to those flaps.
16 Do the same thing to the right side.
18 Fold the left point up.

19 Reverse fold the flap.
21 Fold the right corner into the middle.
23 Fold the flaps back together.
20 Open and flatten the reverse fold.
22 Fold the left corner into the middle.
24 Reverse fold the top point down to make your pig’s tail.

25 Fold the right point up.
27 Unfold the point.
29 Reverse fold the point and then reverse fold the tip down.
26 Reverse fold the point.
28 Fold a the tip of the point inward.
30 Draw a face on your pig and you’re done!
