Organization Name Change: NAGB to NAB The National Association of GCRC Bionutritionists (NAGB) renamed to the National Association of Bionutritionists (NAB) in 2007 after NIH transitioning of General Clinical Research Centers to Clinical & Translational Science Award sites (CTSAs)

New Members

• If you are interested in becoming a new member of the NAB, please review the membership descriptions under the Membership tab to see what member status category applies to you.

• You can request to be added to the online roster, click on “Request Addition/Edit to the Roster” and complete all of the spaces with the appropriate information (you may find it helpful to first look at the actual roster to see the format so that you see what the blanks mean). You must enter the grant number of your GCRC for the entry to be placed on the roster. To find your grant number, please click on the following NIH link: http://www.ncrr.nih.gov/

Once you are added to the online roster, you will receive a 90-day free access password for the Members Only section of the website. The Members Only section of our website will give you access to:• Under Related Links section, a list of FAQs

and answers asked from our list serve in the past as well as a wealth of information under the NAB Resources link

Transitioning or Relocating to another CTSA or GCRC

site?

• If you are vacating your Bionutritionist position at one GCRC and are going to start working as a Bionutritionist at another GCRC, please contact the Secretary/Treasurer – Elect and let her know what date you are leaving your current position and starting your new one. Also, provide your new work address, email, and phone numbers if that is available to you.

Resigning Bionutritionist

• If you are resigning, please email the Secretary/Treasurer – Elect and let him/her know when you will be leaving your Bionutritionist position. If you would like to continue to have access to the membership section of our website after your resignation, you may pay dues as an Affiliate Member. Please refer to our Membership page for membership description options.

• There is a GCRC Bionutritionists’ list serve at [email protected]. This list serve is an excellent way to ask or respond to questions shared only amongst the GCRC Bionutritionists. The Systems Manager at your GCRC/CTSA adds (and removes) names of staff members to this list serve, so check to see that your name has been added if you are new. If you do not have a Systems Manager and you wish to subscribe, send your name, email address, and grant number to the Secretary of the Association of GCRC Systems Managers at [email protected]
