NOTE This is not supplied as a Pre-Purchase Vessel Condition Report and should not be considered as such.

This inspection is not undertaken with the intention of ascertaining whether the vessel complies or otherwise with any rule or code of practice that may be required by any jurisdiction under whose authority the vessel may be operated. The vessel has not been tested for longitudinal or transverse stability and this report must not be taken to imply that the vessel has sufficient stability or buoyancy for its intended use. This report is based on a visual inspection of the vessel and equipment. The inspection does not cover areas that are accessible only by invasive or destructive means. Propeller shafts, rudder stocks etc can only be fully inspected if removed which is not undertaken unless pre-arranged. Machinery, electrical, gas and other equipment is inspected as seen in position without dismantling and no guarantee can be given as to their satisfactory performance. Please note that where reference is made to the condition of a vessel or its equipment this should be understood to be relative to the vessel's age (eg 'very good condition' does not therefore necessarily mean 'as new' ). All reasonable attempts have been made to trace any defects present but there may be latent defects present that are not visible, that are intrinsic to the construction or cannot be discovered without interfering with the vessel's structure and fittings. Comments and recommendations are based on: Uniform Shipping Laws Codes (AUS), the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), the Australian Standard AS1799: Small Pleasure Boats Code and the 2003 / 44 / EC Recreational Craft Directive as adopted by the European Union. Opinions expressed in this report are given in good faith but notwithstanding this the information contained may be inaccurate or misleading and no responsibility is accepted by either the inspector or BoatsTasmania Pty Ltd for any loss or expense whatsoever incurred through reliance on any information contained in this report except where liability is made non-excludable by legislation. This report is valid at the time of the inspection only. Neither BoatsTasmania Pty Ltd nor its employees have a direct or indirect interest in the vessel.
